STATES!!!!

Let’s go stars!!!

The weekend didn’t end the way we hoped, but we’re incredibly proud of what this group accomplished.

The 8U State Line Stars finished pool play 1-1-1 and earned a spot in the bracket before the rest of the tournament was unfortunately canceled due to weather.

⚾ Game 1: Tied the very solid Oakland Chargers
⚾ Game 2: Battled a talented Motor City Hit Dogs team
⚾ Game 3: Closed out pool play with a 14-3 win over the Midland Explorers

What stands out most isn’t the record—it’s the way this team played together. Every single player contributed this weekend. Big hits, key defensive plays, aggressive base running, encouraging teammates, and doing whatever the team needed in the moment. It was truly a complete team effort.

The boys were disappointed they didn’t get the chance to take the field today, and honestly, so were the coaches and parents. But sometimes Mother Nature has other plans.

What we’ll remember most from this weekend are the moments in between: the laughs at the hotel, cheering each other on, the friendships growing stronger, and the memories made together.

We didn’t get our shot today, but we earned the opportunity to have one.

Proud of this group and the way they represented the State Line Stars all weekend.

Rain may have ended the tournament, but it couldn’t wash away what this team accomplished this weekend.

⭐️⚾️❤️💙

14 8u teams and we are the only team from Ohio in the tourney!

No one said it would be easy but we are ready for the challenge!

Let’s go Stars!!!

A great start to a busy week for the boys! Two great wins behind spectacular pitching and clutch hitting. These wins bring us to 10-0 heading into our first tournament weekend!

We travel to Findlay Ohio Saturday and Sunday for the 5th annual salute to service tournament! Stay tuned for the schedule and game updates!

Let’s talk defense!!!

The 8s have started league play 2-0 and have yet to surrender a run!

Incredible performances on the mound Wednesday by Brady P., Brady K. and Hayes were backed up with equally impressive performances by Walker, Jonny, and Miles last night against a VERY good Perrysburg team.

While those guys pitched well, we had dazzling plays in the field including a clutch double play in the bottom of the fifth that all but sealed last nights win!

The bats have been warm but I can’t wait until they catch 🔥🔥🔥

This group is skilled, focused and fun to watch! Excited to get back out there for our double header this weekend against the Cyclones and Oregon.

These boys are chomping at the bit!

We are excited to kick off league play tonight!
