Troop L-1 is pleased to share that we had a successful NATCON! L-1 achieved 3rd overall with placements of 3rd in Armed IDR PLT, 3rd in Unarmed IDR PLT, and 3rd in IDR SQD.

Commander Foley would like to say a special thank you to L-1’s friends, family, and alumni for constant support and encouragement. Good job to all the companies in attendance, we look forward to competing again next year!

As L-1 concludes the second candidate night and gear up for NATCON, here is a message from the CO to the candidates.

“Good job, all.

To the candidates, you have completed the second night in your candidate process and are preparing for your third and final night. Take what you have learned tonight and apply it to the final night but more importantly, apply it to everything we do here on out. Everything you put into the troop, the troop will give back to you. Keep pushing yourself and make sure you help your battle-buddies. You will only succeed if everyone else is succeeding with you.

To our Riflemen, good job on giving these candidates a look at what the troop is all about, BROTHERHOOD, keep up the hard work and don’t think it goes unnoticed.
