Braden came up to me in January and said “he wanted to make it past regionals and that he had missed qualifying to advance by 1 place last season.” I told him with actual programming he could make it further! Now in May he has qualified for GA State AAA Finals in the 400m! Braden puts in work everyday! Follows everything perfectly. He is training smarter and getting greater results!

Some of the best news I’ve ever heard as a trainer! In just 20 training sessions Jennifer has lost 23lbs. The doctor also took her off 2 medications! 1 for diabetes and 1 for blood pressure!

My man Braden has been putting in hard work! 2 months of adhering to my track and field programming has resulted in some new PRs! 400m 54.07 last season -> 51.92s! With his new PR he also finished 1st at the meet!

We are not supposed to be defined or find identity in the things we do. Rather we should be trying to glorify God in all that we do. Since joining Owen’s Gym I have tried to have the mind set of making a positive impact in our members lives while also improving their health habits! There probably isn’t anyone else’s life at our gym that I’ve impacted more than Nick’s. We don’t find identity in what we do but we can be proud of what we have accomplished. What Nick can say he does to improve his health is amazing! Most days Nick walks 1 mile round trip to our gym. Even on our training session days. Never once did he complain nor was he late. Over the course of 10 weeks of solid training he improved his overall powerlifting total by 200lbs! He competed in his first competition and came in 2nd place in his weight class! He has been an awesome student and as a trainer I cannot be more proud of the direction Nick is moving!

Hit chest hard yesterday with some heavier sets of bench press. Tackled 4 sets of 3-5 reps with 245 and 225!

Had my man Justin back at it again with some leg strengthening workouts. Walking lunges are just a dynamic and more challenging than regular lunges!

I didn't have much time for a workout yesterday so I did a bunch of sets til failure that involved a few muscles groups! Curl press was the way to go my arms and shoulders were burning!
