MEET COACH OLIVER SIMON 🏀

We’re proud to introduce Oliver Simon, Head Coach of the Longplex Legends!

Oliver brings NCAA Division III playing experience, seven years of military leadership and a professional background in athletic training to the Legends.

Currently a Captain in the Army National Guard and a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Group Athletics Trainer at Brown University, Oliver’s coaching philosophy is built around discipline, accountability, teamwork, resilience and leadership.

College-level experience on the court with the next generation. 🏀

Roger Williams University men’s basketball players Ryan Hammarlund and Ashton Leclerc joined us at last night’s Longplex Legends Skills Tryouts, working directly with our athletes and bringing great energy to every drill.

Their accomplishments include, but are certainly not limited to:

⭐ Ryan: Two-time All-Conference selection and 1,000-point scorer
⭐ Ashton: RWU single-game record holder for points scored (43) and three-pointers made (12)

Ryan and Ashton will serve as Skills & Drills Coaches for the Legends, helping our players strengthen their fundamentals, build confidence and develop the habits needed to compete at the next level.

Thank you to everyone who came ready to learn, compete and put in the work. This is only the beginning.

Rob’s experience spans more than 20 years developing elite athletes, including NBA and WNBA MVPs. His approach reflects everything we want to build through the LEGENDS program: strong fundamentals, hard work, accountability, and a commitment to continuous growth.
