South Lake - Robotics Welcome to the official page of the South Lake Robotics Team! We are problem-solvers exploring the exciting world of robotics, coding, and engineering.

This team was started at South Lake Elementary in Titusville.

For 2025, Sharkitects fished their Qualifier Competition in 2nd Place for the robot game score out of 24 teams! Their highest score for the day was 290 points and lowest was still 220 points.

On their final robot run they were also able to retain all 6 precision tokens

Lots of work happening this week for the judged innovation project and presentation!

Here's an example of one of the team members solving a mission. For this mission, the team had to:

* come up with a plan to solve the mission
* design an attachment for one of the robot builds
* test the attachment by writing code and seeing if the robot performs the correct actions
* alter the attachment and code until the mission is solved reliably

The scrimmage will allow the team to practice their innovation project presentation, do a practice mission run, and meet other FLL teams across Central Florida!
