For every parent watching your daughter walk on a field:

Before the first pitch is ever thrown, my prayer is bigger than the game. 🥎🙏🏼

I don’t pray for a perfect game. I pray for confidence that isn’t tied to the scoreboard, courage when mistakes happen, humility when success comes, and joy through every inning.

I pray she never measures herself against the girl beside her or lets a bad at-bat, an error, a win, or a loss determine her worth.

Let softball teach her how to work hard, respond to adversity, encourage others, stay humble, and keep showing up. But Lord, never let the game become her identity. Remind her that before she is an athlete, she is Yours. 🤍

Tournament weekend is officially 7 DAYS AWAY, and the work we put in this week matters. ⭐️

This week is about intentional preparation—showing up to practice focused, giving full effort on every rep, communicating, making adjustments, and practicing the way we want to PLAY.

But preparation doesn’t stop when practice ends. 💪

Runner caught between bases… what happens next?

The goal isn’t to panic and chase.
The goal is to communicate, stay under control, and make the runner commit.

🥎 Close the gap.
🥎 Keep the ball in front of the runner.
🥎 Use as few throws as possible.
🥎 Back up every throw.
🥎 Communicate loudly and clearly.
🥎 Finish the play with an out.
