Getting closer to that time of year where we are all reminded of how thankful we are. To have what we have and to do what we do sure is a sign of a great community with tremendous support and love. Here are some of our most recent items to be THANKFUL for!

Basketball Goal: Donated to us by Dunn Rite pool products in Elwood!!! Its gotten used quite a bit already from elementary swim students, middle school football team. And if they are lucky the HS and MS swim/dive teams.

Pumpkins: Basically donated by Tim's 1. Halloween Practice video coming soon! Its a spooky one!

Team Apparel: Lifeguard Jeremy is excited of the new fit all High School Swimming and Diving athletes get to use for the season! Tipton Blue Devils Athletics

Girls Swim/Dive is already underway. Wish them luck as we are halfway through our first week of two, 2-a-day practices!!!

🏊‍♂️✨ Early mornings just got brighter! Tipton High School, Middle School, and Heartland Swim Club swimmers and divers brought smiles to our Blue Devil Friday! High fives and good mornings to our younger students! 💙

Elementary Swim is looking a little different then last year, in a GREAT Way! High Schoolers, both on the swim/dive team, as well as students that are not, are being trained and taught to teach swim lessons for Tipton Elementary School students. This brings a multitude of benefits to our students here at TES:

-Better teacher/student ratio in the water = safer environment & more 1 on 1 ability based instruction

-Elementary Students are divided up based off of their current ability levels = ability appropriate skills taught to them to push them to see more improvement at any and all levels

-Grade Booklets are new as well! They are sent home with the kids at the end of their two weeks to showcase where they stand and what they can work on in the future. This will assist on keeping our parents in the loop, knowing where their child stands ability wise to keep them safer in and out of the water. Not to mention, GOALS to set for each individual to move up and pass the skills in each level.

We have a total of 12 High School students that have signed up for this class and they have been hard at work this first part of the school year with the 5th grade classes.

Tipton Swim & Dive (Both High School & Middle School) is looking for an assistant swim/dive coach for the 2025-26 season. Emphasis on dive but a swim background works just fine as our dive program, in general, is small but the middle school team continues to grow!

Starting Block Challenge!!!
In the week of broadcasting our goals, we have had 2 starting blocks purchased, only 4 more to go! $3500 is a lot so if you would like to donate or sponsor a different amount but go to this specifically or anything else that is okay too! Tipton Swimming & Diving has some major financial goals to fundraise this year. These goals include, starting blocks, diving board, team bags/ parkas, additional lane line cables, lane line wheel for storage, suit dryers, and an underwater speaker. In the near future there will be a need to convert our systems from Daktronics to Colorado; this means we will need to fundraise for a new scoreboard, touch pads, and starter system. These items certainly exceed our goal of $20,000, but with your help we hope to make these dreams a reality with the attached sponsorship details. Tipton swimmers weren't the only ones getting in the water this weekend! Incoming freshman Mati Spencer diving at Zones at Cleveland State University among the best in the country in her age group! Way to go girl!
