Another weekend, another tournament. On the 13th 2FN found themselves back up in Loveland, Colorado for the Summer Heat NIT. The boys had an early start at 9am against HAVOC. We came out a little slow and unfortunately weren’t able to pick ourselves up, ultimately losing 4-15. We like doing things that hard way anyways. After a 2 hour break the gents took on Risk Takers. We bounced back after our first loss and won game 2 13-11. The game ended a little handsy but there’s nothing we can’t handle. That only fired us up for our next game. After our hour break we took on our biggest rival WTP. The boys came out fired up from the little tussle after game 3, beating WTP 13-8. On a roll, Joser walked it off with a sac fly in game 4 against Flying Dutchman, winning 14-13. For game 5, we met back up with HAVOC. After an intense last few games and wanting to come back from our first game against HAVOC the boys came out fighting. In the last inning 2FN just fell short ending the day with a 12-17 loss. This team continues to show up and show out no matter what path they have to take. We I’ll see yall fathers day weekend for the Hall of Fame Fundraiser in Aurora, Colorado.
