June is a big month in the park. We have our Live & Local concert series kicking off on June 20 6:30-9 at the Gazebo. Two amazing local acts to come out and support!

We also have our Picnic in the Park in June 27 10-1. There will be face painting, park games, live music and Growing Roots Farmers Market!

Despite intermittent spring rainfall and considerable snowfall last winter, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a drought warning for Chester County. Per DEP's guidance, residents, businesses and farmers are asked to voluntarily reduce their daily water usage by 10-15% or 6-9 gallons per person. For reference, the average showerhead uses about two gallons of water per minute, while washing dishes by hand can use up to 27 gallons.

Residents and businesses that rely on private wells and on-site septic systems should also remain mindful of water use.

Come out to Downingtown’s first outdoor Gallery Walk on Sunday May 31st from 11-2pm at Kerr park. There will be over 30 local artists on display, a food truck, music and free kids activities. There will also be vendors with all local art to shop.
