Rob has piloted the Purple Reign Focusiesta in every single Lemons race we've entered—and the idiot still keeps coming back for more.

He's fast, dependable, always willing to lend a hand, and one of my favorite people to have around... on/off the track a genuinely good person.

We love plain vanilla bean ice cream and glazed donuts.

Throwback to when the Purple Reign Focusiesta was still running the original SVT powerplant. 🏎️

We freshened up the drivetrain with a SPEC Stage 2 clutch and billet aluminum flywheel — getting ready to put the SVT engine to work.

Funny looking back at how far this car has come since then. 💜🔧🏁

Driving a race car for the first time is a daunting experience.

The sights. The sounds. The smells. The vibrations. The speed. The sheer amount of information coming at you all at once.

It’s definitely not like driving your average street car. 😂🏎️🏁

But that first time you strap in, turn some laps, and realize, “Holy sh*t… I’m actually doing this,” is something you never forget.

I’ll take preparation over luck every time.

Every race is different. New tracks, new challenges, and almost always a new arrive-and-drive driver joining the mix. Somehow, the team has to bring it all together, adapt on the fly, and manage the chaos while still putting a car on track.

I’m incredibly grateful for the teammates who make that possible. The preparation, the problem-solving, the late nights, and the ability to roll with whatever the race throws at us—that’s what makes this a team sport. 🏁
