Bad Rock Disc Golf

What a weekend at Bad Rock!

We welcomed 83 players to Thompson Falls for the Next Bad Rock Chuck supported by Innova Discs, and what a day it was.

Congratulations to Shane Anderson, who absolutely shredded the course and took down MPO with an incredible 23-under-par finish. Wowza.

A huge thank you to all of our players, volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, vendors, and supporters who helped make this event possible.

Special shoutout to Tyler and Albatross Discs for making the trek out and keeping players supplied all day long. We're always grateful to have them as part of the event.

Thank you to Blondeez Country Food Truckin for keeping us fueled with some seriously delicious nutrition throughout the day. It was a huge hit and very much appreciated by players and volunteers alike!

We also have to give a shoutout to Brian Bjortomt. He'll probably roll his eyes at seeing his name here, but the truth is that Bad Rock, the Bad Rock Chuck, and so much of the experience players enjoy out here simply wouldn't be what it is without his time, talent, and dedication. We're incredibly lucky to have him as part of this community.

We're especially grateful that this event helps support Project ASCENT and our mission of creating outdoor recreation opportunities and mentorship experiences for local youth and families.

Our cup is full after this one. Thank you for being part of such an amazing community. Disc golfers really are some of the best people around.

We can't wait to do it again next year.

Good shots are great. Good people are better. 🥏❤️

Drop your favorite photos or memories from the weekend in the comments, and if you haven't already, we'd love a rating or review on UDisc!

It's easy to spend another Saturday talking about getting outside.

This year, do something about it.

Whether you've been throwing discs for years, just picked one up this summer, or have kids looking for a new adventure, the Bad Rock Chuck is a fun way to challenge yourself, spend a day outdoors, and see what disc golf is all about.

You don't have to be a pro. You don't even have to be good. You just have to be willing to step up to the tee and give it a rip.

A friendly reminder from Bad Rock -

This time of year, the course is full of more than disc golfers. Young wildlife are active throughout the area, and where there are babies, there are often protective parents and predators nearby.

As you enjoy your round, please be mindful that Bad Rock is a wild place first and a disc golf course second. Give wildlife space, stay aware of your surroundings, and help us tread lightly and respect the locals who call this place home.

Thanks for doing your part to keep Bad Rock wild. 🥏🌲

Wow. The grass is huge this year! We love to see it but it's been some work for our miniscule team 🤙Course is in shape and ready to be enjoyed to the max. Come chuck it at Bad Rock!

Thank you Robert Brown (RT) for helping mow the crazy tall grass in the landing area and fairways on 18, 13, 15, and 6 yesterday! Only 14 more to go! We appreciate your volunteer time and use of your mower! Couldn't do it without community members like you buddy 🤙🤙

On another note, if anyone has a riding mower for purchase or donation, we'd love to have one for the course!
