🏆 MHSA Athlete of the Week: Ava Lawyer

Congratulations to Ava Lawyer, a senior at Plains High School, on being named an MHSA Athlete of the Week for August 24–30!

The Thompson Falls-Plains-St. Regis senior goalkeeper put together an incredible performance against Polson on August 29, recording 23 saves on 24 shots on target to help her team earn a hard-fought draw.

Ava faced 33 total shots and was a key difference-maker throughout the match, making save after save to keep her team in the fight. Her distribution also helped launch multiple counterattacks.

Ava is a two-time state save record holder, three-time Academic All-State athlete, and a former NWA Soccer 2nd Team All-Conference selection.

Congratulations, Ava! 👏⚽
