Breaking records!

What a year for record breaking we had! Every time a record is broken the kids get to place their own name, time and year up on our record board to leave their mark!

This year our 4x200 relay of Kenzie Reynolds, Kayla Peterson, Janaya Albers and Gwen Wojciechowski broke the record not once, not twice but three times in a row with the record standing at 1:43.13!

Davdine King now holds the high jump record of 5’4” after tying the previous record and then breaking it twice!

Curtis Griffin broke his own 1600m record by 2 seconds to better it to 4:26.75! His previous record only lasted a year!

Clayton Rudi had a fantastic year by breaking his own 100m (22.64s) and 200m (47.17s) wheelchair division records, setting the 400m (1:41.22) wheelchair division record and also breaking his own shot put (15’6”) and discus (54’9”) wheelchair division records as well! He was shattering his previous records!

This was one of our best years and we had by far the most records we have broken in a single season! We cannot wait until next year when we get the chance to break them all over again!

All costs go back to local sports programs! Get signed up and get your physical done!

Sports physicals will be offered at Sanford on August 4 and August 12 from 5:15–7:15 PM.

All students in grades 6-12 who participate in MSHSL sports are required to have an up-to-date physical. Physicals are required every three years.

Please make sure your student is ready to go before the start of the school year and fall sports season!

🚨🚨State Champion in the 200m wheelchair!!🚨🚨 Clayton Rudi won the 200 with a time of 52.38!

Curtis Griffin had a great showing at the State meet running the 1600 with a time of 4:42.83! Nice job Curtis! I know we will continue to see big things from you over the next two years!

🚨Clayton Rudi had a huge PR with a throw of 54’ 9” in the Discus Wheelchair division! He placed 3rd and his throw broke the class AA record that was set last year!

🚨AA State Track Championship Runner Up finish in the 400m Wheelchair division for Clayton Rudi with a time of 1:44.50!

🚨🚨School record and 7th place finisher!!🚨🚨 The girls 4x2 relay of Kenzie Reynolds, Kayla Peterson, Janaya Albers and Gwen Wojciechowski broke the school record for the 3rd time in a row with a time of 1:43.13 to place 7th overall in the Class AA State Track Championships! The field was extremely fast and they rose to the occasion. The 1st place team broke the MN all time record!
