Wasn’t the best night but we came out here to learn and to have fun. At the same time I’m very proud because he got on a track that he has never been on before and ran close to the leaders.

Well no racing tonight at 5 Flag Speedway for Houk Racing as the weather wins this one. rescheduled for the 29th Luckily for us we only have to wait a week and we are back Mobile International Speedway on the 9th.

Man I’m lost for words but to say I’m so proud of this kid and how he handled the adversity of having to restart 5 times. With every race you see him improving and learning more and more. Big shout out to our sponsors without y’all this would be impossible. To his competitors who came over before the race and after the race to offer words of encouragement or to offer congratulations it means alot to him and especially us at Houk Racing! We knew restarts was his 1 thing that he struggles with and y’all was beyond patient with him. big shout out to Kelly Motykiewicz and Kelli N Jimbo for all the videos and pictures yall took God knows I suck taking pictures of the moments that count. to all our friend’s who came out to watch and who came to help thank yall so much to see the smile on that kids face at the end and to see the excitement of him pounding the roof when he got out is why we do this!
3rd isn’t a win but to us it’s a win compared to his first race.

We had a great practice yesterday. nice to see the car finally back on the track and running great. Hopefully we can qualify top 4 this weekend.
