Cayuga ISD has announced the hiring of Roddricka Bryant as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach.

Coach Bryant brings leadership, passion, and dedication to the Lady Wildcats program as she begins a new chapter in Cayuga. The school and community are excited to welcome her and look forward to the future of Cayuga girls basketball under her leadership.

Summer workouts start Wednesday, July 1st at 9:00 AM!

Workouts will continue every Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

This is your chance to get stronger, improve your skills, and put in the work before the season starts. Be ready to compete, improve, and get better every day!

To be clear our first week of workouts will only be two days Wednesday and Thursday. Every week to follow will be Monday- Thursday!!

Let's get to it and put in some work! 🔥

The Ladycats’ season came to an end last night. It wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, but these girls showed heart and determination from start to finish. They kept competing, stayed together, and represented Ladycat basketball with pride.

This group had to grow through many twists and turns, figuring things out early to playing with confidence and chemistry down the stretch. They learned, they laughed, they adjusted, and they kept showing up. Watching them find their rhythm and become a true team was such a fun ride.

Season may be over, but the pride? That sticks.
So proud of these girls and the way they represented Ladycat basketball all year long. 💛🏀🖤

As this chapter comes to a close, it’s impossible not to reflect on what our seniors have meant to this team. We are so grateful to have you in our program and get to celebrate you and your accomplishments 💛🖤

To our seniors — thank you. Thank you for the early mornings, the extra reps, the leadership, and the heart you poured into Ladycat basketball. You’ve set the standard with your work ethic, your toughness, and the way you carried yourselves on and off the court.

You’ve led through wins and losses, through adversity and growth, and you’ve shown the younger girls what it truly means to compete with pride. The stats are impressive, the moments unforgettable — but it’s your leadership, resilience, and love for this team that will be missed the most.

You leave behind a legacy and some very big shoes to fill. The future is bright because of the foundation you built.
