The Bombers had their end of season party a few weeks ago to celebrate their success and growth this fall. We had a great time as a team at Spare Time eating pizza and cupcakes, bowling, playing a game of laser tag and numerous arcade games all thanks to our truly amazing sponsors Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center and Artisan Roofing and Solar Central TX.

The Temple Bombers played in a holiday hitters toy drive tournament this weekend in Taylor, TX. Although our team fell short in a thrilling tie-breaker, we enjoyed getting to watch the boys play their last tournament of the season.

This tournament’s MVP goes to Royce Peppler who played great offensively and defensively. Royce had 3 assists and 2 put outs in our last game, and offensively got on base for each plate appearance of the tournament, 4 total stolen bases, and 3 runs scored. Great job this weekend Royce!!

The Temple Bombers had a fun family day Saturday at the ball field playing “anything but a bat,” Bombers vs the Old Timers (Bomber family members).

“Bats” of choice included tennis rackets, paddles, umbrellas, frying pans, boogie boards, water guns, piñata, suitcases, pool noodles, and more!

How it ended: Bombers were up 10-9 in the bottom of the 4th (last inning before it got too dark out). The Old Timers were up to bat and Rowdy tripled and then was able to tie it at 10-10. With bases loaded and 2 outs, Brett came to the plate with the weight of the win on his shoulders. He made contact with a hard hit grounder to the second baseman who hussled to the ball to make the play at first for the final out. The Bombers and Old Timers ended the game in a 10-10 tie which could not have been scripted any better!

Thank you to all of our Bombers and family for such a fun day!!

We are proud of all of our Bombers but wanted to give a little extra recognition to our offensive and defensive players of this weekend’s 10u tournament.

Jayceton #23 went 2 for 2 at the plate, with a single and a double, walked twice, and scored 2 runs.

Kyler #99 faced 29 batters, walking only 6 with 7 punch outs. Over the course of the tournament he threw 99 pitches, of which 48 were strikes.

Temple Bombers Fall After Strong Showing By Mad dawgs

Temple Bombers had trouble keeping up with Mad dawgs in a 15-7 loss on Sunday.

Temple Bombers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Moses V doubled, scoring two runs, and Kyler T drew a walk, scoring one run.

Mad dawgs jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning, scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning, and five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning.

Kyler opened the game for Temple Bombers. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and 10 runs over two innings, striking out none and walking three.

Moses drove the middle of the lineup, leading Temple Bombers with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Temple Bombers had patience at the plate, piling up 10 walks for the game. Kyler, Royce P, and Bowen T led the team with two walks each. Gunner H, Bowen, and Malcolm M each stole multiple bases for Temple Bombers. Temple Bombers stole 10 bases in the game. Temple Bombers were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ryder T had the most chances in the field with two.
