Healing changed my life.
Discipleship changed how I lived it. 🤍
For a long time, I thought healing was the goal.
But over time, I realized healing was only the beginning.
God wasn’t just healing wounds.
He was renewing my mind.
Teaching me discipline.
Showing me how to take my thoughts captive and respond in ways that reflected His truth instead of my pain.
Little by little, He began changing more than my circumstances.
He changed my perspective.
My priorities.
My habits.
My words.
And perhaps most importantly, He changed how I saw myself.
Not through the lens of what I had been through.
But through the lens of who He says I am.
Because transformation isn’t just about feeling better.
It’s about becoming who God created you to be.
One of the things I’ve learned is that healing and discipleship work together.
Healing helped me recover from what happened.
Discipleship taught me how to move forward.
How to think.
How to speak.
How to respond.
How to see myself through God’s truth instead of my past.
And that process is still shaping me today. 🤍✨
What is one way God has changed how you think, speak, live, or respond over the past few years?
