This past Sunday kicked off our 9u fall season. These boys have been working their tails off for the last month in preparation for all of the new rule changes. We are now playing full baseball (no more coach pitch) with rule changes like lead offs, infield fly rule, dropped 3rd strikes, further pitching distance, further base distances etc. So many changes for just one age group up. These boys handled it well. We played several teams that had a ton of kid pitch experience and we held our own despite not having our best stuff that day. We played well enough to take home the silver bracket championship! I'm beyond proud of this team. We are also blessed to have such an amazing support system with the parents, community and sponsors around us.
