Four pool games and five bracket games later, the girls battled through extreme weather all weekend. We played mostly on turf in the heat on Saturday and Sunday, then finished our final game in the rain.

I’m incredibly proud of these girls for competing through tough conditions and fighting their way back through the loser’s bracket. We didn’t finish as champions this weekend, but bringing home 3rd place

Now it’s time for our last big 10U tournament in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. We’re excited to see what these girls bring and can’t wait to compete one more time together.

These girls played hard all weekend. We battled our way back through the loser’s bracket and fought our way into the championship game. Unfortunately, after a lightning delay, the championship ended in a coin toss due to the incoming weather, leaving us with a second-place finish.

We could not be successful without our amazing moms. These women are dedicated and spend countless hours driving to practices and lessons, sitting through long days at the fields, cheering our girls on through the wins, and comforting them through the tough losses.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Texas Blaze-Alcozer raffle for both 10U and 14U!

Kinsley Warford kicked things off by stirring the pot, and Hazel Watts drew Gilbert Sr. as the winner of the cooler. Sophia Alcozer then pulled for the second-place prize, with Sara Simmons taking the win. Finally, Travis drew Aaron A as the winner of the gift certificates.

I want to personally give her a shout out to one of the hardest-working players I know—always pushing to be her best and competing with everyone, including herself. A beast in the outfield and always on point at the plate. Keep shining, Kinsley!
