Tomorrow, both Centex Reds teams are back on the field at Crossroads Sports Complex in Temple, TX.

What a perfect way to kick off the season. Before the first pitch, the Centex Reds 13U gathered with the Bad Boys Brewers to pray over both teams, their coaches, and a safe season ahead.

A good reminder that baseball is bigger than the game.

The wait is over. Tomorrow, the Centex Reds 13U take the field for their opening tournament at Crossroads Sports Complex in Temple, TX.

These boys have put in the work. Now it’s time to step between the lines, compete, battle, and show what Reds baseball is all about.

The Centex Reds battled HARD today and came just a little bit short in their first bracket game of the Gold Bracket.

Overall, we could not be more proud of these boys. They battled through 105° heat, fought until the very end, and came out strong for their first weekend as a brand-new team.

A huge thank you to our coaches for pouring into these boys all weekend, and to our parents, families, and everyone who came out to support the Reds. You made sure these boys had everything they needed to be successful on and off the field—and most importantly, you kept them cool, hydrated, encouraged, and in good spirits through some seriously brutal Texas heat.

This weekend showed us a lot about this team, and we are so excited to see where this group goes from here.

Now, if you’ll excuse us… we are READY for fall ball to actually feel like FALL. 🥵
