What an amazing way to wrap up Surge VBC’s 2nd season! !!!

Yesterday we kicked off our end-of-the-year party with a quick parents vs. players scrimmage. Not exactly sure who won… but I’m pretty sure the parents took the victory 😂 Either way, we laughed, had fun, and made so many great memories! I love to see all the friendships that were made over our time together.

After the scrimmage, our players taught the parents how to play “Queens of the Court,” which I think ended up being the crowd favorite of the night 👑🏐 After that, we all enjoyed cake and spent time chatting together one last time this season. Such a sweet way to end an unforgettable year together.

We are beyond thankful for our amazing coaches, supportive families, and everyone who trusted us with their athletes this season. Watching these girls grow both on and off the court has been such a rewarding experience.

Thank you all for an unforgettable season. We can’t wait for YEAR 3 of Surge VBC! ⚡️ Let’s keep this small club growing together! 🖤

Surge takes 2nd place in the Silver Bracket!!!!

What a great way to end such a fun season! We are SO proud of the hard work these girls put in all season long. You could truly see them putting to use everything they’ve worked on through practices and tournaments these last few months. Their growth, teamwork, and determination have been amazing to watch!
This was some of the best volleyball we’ve seen these girls play all year. It makes us wish we could keep the season going a little longer, but all good things must come to an end. 💗
It’s hard to believe this was our last tournament together definitely bittersweet. But thankfully, it’s not the last time we’ll play volleyball together!
Now we get ready for one more fun night together at our End of the Year Party this Thursday… where the PARENTS take on the PLAYERS! 👀🏐 We cannot wait!
As we wrap up this season, we want to give a HUGE thank you to all of our Surge parents, families, coaching staff, and community supporters. Thank you for the rides to practices and tournaments, the long weekends, the encouragement, fundraising support, and for always cheering these girls on. A club like this truly would not be possible without all of you behind the scenes helping make it happen. Your support means more than you know! 💗

Even when the scoreboard doesn’t go our way, I’ll always be proud of the heart these girls bring to the court. This weekend was tough, and we came up short on all but one game, but these athletes learned to never stop showing up, working hard, and supporting each other.🫶🏻

One thing I loved most this weekend was seeing the girls choose team time while waiting between matches a quick game of duck duck goose!Laughing together, bonding, and continuing to grow as a family. That kind of chemistry and attitude matters just as much as wins.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight. Tough weekends build stronger athletes, stronger teammates, and stronger mindsets. We’ll keep learning, keep grinding, and keep showing up ready to improve. We have time to put in the work! 💗🏐

Our fundraiser basket brought in an amazing $650 for Surge VBC! 🏐⚡

This money helps us continue building our program and allows us to purchase things for our team and athletes throughout the season. We are beyond thankful for everyone who bought tickets, shared the fundraiser, and supported our girls. Your support truly means so much to us!

And a HUGE congratulations to Paizley Crawford for winning this year’s fundraiser basket!

We went 1-1 on Sunday! We still have things to improve on, but I am so proud of how these girls keep showing up, putting in the work, and truly wanting to get better. That’s what it’s all about.

This team is already starting to feel like a family so many laughs, smiles, and moments that make it all worth it. 🫶

I’m so excited to see how much more this group improves as the season goes on. Next up Eastside River City Surge!

So incredibly proud of these Surge athletes today 💗🏐

Last weekend was our first tournament as a team, and while we had some struggles, you could tell we were learning and growing every step of the way. But TODAY… these girls showed up ready to compete ⚡️

We went 2-1 on the day and made the GOLD bracket again, continuing to climb each week! The improvement from last weekend to now is HUGE, and it’s so exciting to see their hard work starting to shine through.

And we’ve got some extra team spirit to celebrate…

Our first tournament kicked off today, and the girls battled hard! We finished Saturday 1-2 against some really tough competition that pushed us to grow every single set.

First tournament jitters were definitely there, but the team stayed focused, worked hard, and never gave up. So proud of how they competed and represented Surge today!

Because of their fight and strong scoring, we were able to secure a spot in the GOLD BRACKET! 🥇🔥

We’re taking what we learned, cleaning up our mistakes, and coming back ready to finish strong and compete even harder on Sunday!💪🏻💗
