Another successful day in the books!

This time, I had the opportunity to assist some great folks with locating a couple of cows that had gotten out. Once we located them from the air, some experienced cowboys stepped in and did what they do best. Roping them in and getting them home safely!

A big thank you to everyone involved. It was a pleasure working alongside y’all, and I’m always happy to help however I can.

Storms can leave behind damage that isn’t always visible from the ground. For awhile now I’ve been working with local roofing company, Frederick Roofing helping them move quickly flying from above. Using my drone, I’m able to visually inspect roofs for possible storm damage by using thermal imaging to detect hidden leaks, moisture underneath the surface or poor insulation.

Drone inspections provide a safe, fast, and detailed view of roofs without anyone having to climb up unless it’s necessary. It’s another way Air Strike Recovery can put our technology to work beyond deer recovery.

🐾 🚁 Was able to assist in capturing these two beautiful pups this past week! I have so much fun being able to work with a wonderful team of ladies who help come up with a plan to find the core areas of these lost dogs, set cameras and traps out and strategically find a way to rescue them safely! Shout out to Annamaria, Julie, Cheryl and Ann! A couple more pups rescued and many more to go! 🐾 🚁

Not every dog that gets out makes it back home.
That’s the reality.
It doesn’t take negligence. It doesn’t take carelessness. Sometimes it’s just one bad moment… and that’s all it takes.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are one that likes to pet dogs, please ASK the owner before walking up and doing so. Unfortunately I’ve seen too many times a dog slipping their lead and getting out due to someone walking up too quickly and scaring them.

Please keep a close eye on your dogs. Check the gates. Take the extra second.

Ikira and Shiloh decided to take a leisurely stroll in a couple hundred acres of woods last night. Shiloh decided he wanted to comeback to some warmth, Ikira had other plans and kept playing hide and seek. Their loving owners called me in panic seeing if I could find Ikira. It took a bit of searching to scan through the immense amount of woods surrounding the area but we were able to locate Ikira, give the coordinates and help assist on getting the owners to her location! They welcomed us in their home for some coffee and to chat about life. That’s the beauty of this business. Meeting, helping and getting to know great people! Ikira and Shiloh ended their nights with some juicy steaks 🥩

Closure.

Got a call from Tyler this morning explaining how he shot at this buck a couple days ago but that his arrow had deflected off a branch and hit somewhere a little back. Him and his buddies followed some blood for a couple hundred yards and grid searched the property to no avail.

He had called in a drone operator the following morning but wasn’t pleased when they couldn’t find the buck at all let alone dead. Hating the thought of the unknown, he asked me if I’d come out just to re-check and see if I could find him.

We found this buck over a mile away from where Tyler shot him. The coyotes had already got to him but he was ecstatic to get his hands on him and have closure on the buck!

My guy Carson here has hunted his tail off and each hunt has ended without him even seeing a single deer. Tonight was a whole different ballgame!

He had a group of does come in and he tried to shoot the biggest one but the crossbow wasn’t firing. He didn’t panic and got everything under control only to put a perfect shot on this spike!

The buck ran a little bit further than they liked so they backed out and called me. We found the buck quickly and Carson was ecstatic on his first ever deer!

Lucky the dog went missing on December 3rd! Cody and his brother Josh reached out for help!

Loaded up as fast as I could and found Lucky quickly in the woods by the interstate.

Poor guy was so cold and scared and wouldn’t come to us so we called Annamaria for a little assistance! We were able to work as a team to bring Lucky back safely! It was a great moment seeing Cody reunite with Lucky!
