Almost that time again, soon we will be starting the 26/27 wrestling season. Wanted to share the link to anyone that is interested, dont hesitate to reach out to any coach for questions or concerns.

A couple reminders
- Signups are open to any one 7th to 12th grade that goes to a Spencer county School
- Girls do not have to wrestle with boys as all tournaments and state tournaments are sanctioned
- No experience is needed to get started
- Wrestling is a great sport to build strength, speed and confidence that directly impacts and improves athletes for any other sports they compete in!!!!

Some members of the SCHS wrestling team traveled to virginia beach for the NHSCA national duals on 5/23-5/24. Competing against some of the beat wrestlers across the country. Over 6000 wrestlers were present at this event!! Off season builds champions!!

Had our team banquet tonight. Just want to say great work this season and proud of all of you. To the seniors good luck on your next endeavor!!! to everyone else back to work!!! We got big plans next season!!!

This was a historic weekend for Spencer County Wrestling!!! This year we had the most state qualifiers and placers in SCHS history!!!
7 State Qualifiers and 3 state placers!!!!

We also had the highest placement achieved by any SCHS wrestler in school history by Sera Gutterman achieving 3rd place at 126.

Congrats to all state qualifiers and placers!!!

25-26 State results:
Boys
157 - Riley Sanford 8th place

Girls
126 - Sera Gutterman 3rd place
132 - Laney Doolin 6th place

CONGRATS to Riley Sanford for placing 8th in the 25-26 KHSAA High School Championships!! Riley is a Senior this and so happy he was able to place in his last year!! Way to go Riley!! Good Luck In college and best of luck in the next step of your journey!!
