🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPS! 🏐

On September 12, our JV Girls Volleyball team traveled to Johannesburg-Lewiston for a round-robin tournament, and they came home CHAMPIONS! ❤️🤍

The girls earned their spot in the semifinals, where they took down Kalkaska in two sets before facing Johannesburg-Lewiston in the championship and winning in two sets again! 💪

These girls worked hard, played together, and showed exactly what can happen when you compete as a TEAM.

We are SO proud of you, ladies! Way to represent the Braves! 🏹🏐🏆

🏐 WHAT A WIN! 🏐

Yesterday, Varsity Volleyball opened North Star League Big Dipper play with a 3-set sweep! 🔥

25-10 | 25-6 | 25-13

The entire team played strong from start to finish, with a dominant performance at the net and great energy all around! 💪🏐

Way to go, ladies! Keep it rolling! ⭐️

Congratulations to Eliza Primm!

She set the school record today with a 43 during the Mid Michigan Golf Conference event at Huron Breeze.

She needed a birdie on her final hole to do it. She hit a 230 yard drive that had a beautiful draw right down the middle of the fairway. Left only about 25 yards in. She had a beautiful pit shop that hit the stick and dropped to about 30” from the cup. She made that putt to break her own school record that she set at the same course last year.

The team put up a very solid 224 with other notable scores including Gia Lesneski’s 58 and Olivia’s Hopkins’ 58.

The girls games are turning the corner at the right time. We are all looking forward to how these girls finish up this season in a couple weeks.

Saturday, the middle school and varsity cross country team took on the course at Stratford Woods in Midland, with some wicked heat by the end of the race. We had 14 varsity runners and 2 middle school runners race their personal best this season! 10 varsity runners and 2 middle school runners placed top 30 to medal.

We’re proud of all of our Braves, but these boys deserve a little extra recognition right now. They’ve put in the work day in and day out, continue to give it their all, and the results speak for themselves.
