Your perspective shifts happen when you realize Earth is preparing for a war, but Heaven is preparing for a wedding. šŸ¤

You stop expecting this life to always be comfortable.
You stop believing every battle means God has abandoned you.
You stop measuring His goodness by how easy your circumstances are.
And you start living like this world was never supposed to be your final destination.

I’ve lived through seasons that changed me. Loss. Grief. Heartbreak. Starting over. Carrying responsibilities when I was exhausted. Smiling while fighting battles nobody could see. Learning that sometimes strength isn’t looking strong it’s simply getting up again and saying, ā€œGod, I still trust You.ā€

And maybe that’s why ā€œshe carries it wellā€ hits differently.

Because what people see is the woman carrying it.

What they don’t always see is Who has been carrying her.

Somewhere along the way, my prayer changed from ā€œGod, make this life easierā€ to ā€œGod, use this life to prepare me for You.ā€

Because Scripture never promised we wouldn’t have trouble here. Jesus actually told us we would, but He also said, ā€œTake heart! I have overcome the world.ā€ — John 16:33

So if you’re in a season where life feels heavy, remember:

The battle is temporary.
The Bridegroom is coming.
And the story doesn’t end here. šŸ•Šļø

Carry what you must, but don’t forget Who carries you.

Everyone talks about taking your losses in private.

But there is something equally powerful about taking them publicly.

Not for attention.
Not for sympathy.
But for honesty.

Anyone can celebrate victories. It’s easy to post the promotion, the transformation, the success story, or the mountaintop moment. Those moments inspire people.

But the setbacks?
The failures.
The disappointments.
The seasons where nothing seems to be working.

Those moments build credibility.

When you’re willing to acknowledge your losses instead of pretending they never happened, you give others permission to stop hiding theirs. You remind people that growth isn’t a straight line, it’s built through setbacks, resilience, and the decision to keep moving forward.

Character isn’t revealed when everything is going your way.
It’s revealed by how you respond when it isn’t.

Your losses may never define you, but the way you handle them just might become the very thing that encourages someone else not to quit.

The people who make the greatest impact aren’t those who have never failed.

They’re the ones who were willing to let others see how they got back up.

Because transparency builds trust.
Humility builds character.
And resilience gives other people permission to believe that they can overcome too.

When ā€œUSER2387594567ā€ wants to say ā€œyou’re fatā€, I don’t know why you keep posting and trying to help othersā€, you shouldn’t have become a coach, you can’t help others you’re not a doctor.ā€
Well.... USER2387594567.... Here’s what you didn’t see changing in the last 6 months since you’re so stuck on just what the appearance of someone looks like...
Six Months of Data > Six Months of Guessing
This is why I don’t let the scale tell the whole story.
Over the past 6 months, my goal wasn’t weight loss, it was a lean bulk to build muscle while keeping body fat under control as I prepare for my next phase.
Here’s what changed:
V Weight: +6.9 Ibs (144.0 → 150.9 Ibs)
5 Lean Mass: +2.5 Ibs
I Skeletal Muscle: +0.9 Ibs
0 BMR: +39 calories/day
Body Fat %: 19.3% → 18.6%
* Visceral Fat: Stayed low
• Hydration and body cell mass also improved.
Mind you in 5 foot 7.5 inches tall. (DISCLIAMER: all body types are different. Don’t follow someone who isnot in your body type category)
One number that often confuses people:
My body fat mass increased slightly (27.7 → 28.1 Ibs) despite my body fat percentage decreasing.
That’s because I gained more lean tissue than fat overall.
When total body weight increases, body fat mass can increase slightly while body fat percentage decreases. This is exactly what body recomposition can look like.

What Weightlifting Gave Me (And Why I’ll Never Stop)

Twenty-four years ago, in high school, I walked into the gym weighing over 300 pounds, scared to death of what the outcome would be, not knowing it would change my life.
I wasn’t chasing a bodybuilding stage. I wasn’t trying to become a coach. I was simply trying to survive in a body that didn’t feel healthy when everyone said it was normal.

I had no idea that picking up a weight would eventually change every area of my life.

Weightlifting didn’t just help me lose over 160 pounds. It taught me discipline when motivation disappeared. It built confidence that no number on a scale could ever measure. It showed me that consistency always beats perfection.

Over the years, it helped me:
Build strength instead of fear.
Develop resilience through life’s hardest seasons.
Improve my physical and mental health.
Step on a bodybuilding stage.
Turn my passion into a career as a coach, helping others reclaim their health.

Today, I don’t train because I hate my body.

I train because I respect it. I’ve grown to love every single piece of me that’s been refined over the years.

I train so I can stay strong as I age, reduce my risk of chronic disease, protect my bones, maintain muscle, support my brain, and continue showing up for my family and my clients.

It’s one of the most effective investments you can make in your future health.

If you’re waiting until you ā€œfeel ready,ā€ don’t, because 9 times out of 10 you WONT BE READY. YOU just have to do it.

Start with one workout.
One set.
One healthy choice.
Because one decision can become the turning point that changes your entire trajectory of your life.

If the young girl who once weighed over 300 pounds can transform her life through consistency and strength training, there’s a good chance you can too.
Your future is built by what you repeatedly do today, not by what you promise yourself you’ll do tomorrow.
