⚾️✝️ WHY WOULD YOU START A FAITH-BASED TRAVEL BASEBALL TEAM?

…we get asked this question sometimes.

And the answer is, well, because it was never supposed to be just about baseball.

Yes, we want to compete. Of course we want to win.
Yes, we want our players to develop, play at a high level, and have opportunities to be seen.

But we also want something bigger than baseball.

We wanted to create a place where young men could grow in their faith while playing the game they love. A team where prayer isn’t saved for when things go wrong, but is part of who we are. A place where players are encouraged to compete with intensity while still showing humility, integrity, respect, and grace.

We wanted coaches who care about the young man underneath the uniform just as much as the player wearing it.

Because one day, the tournaments will end. The uniforms will hang in the closet. The stats, wins, and losses will eventually become memories.

But the character these boys build, the brothers they gain, and the relationship they develop with Christ can impact the rest of their lives.

We pray together.
We compete together.
We celebrate together.
We struggle together.
And somewhere along the way, this team became more than teammates.

It became a brotherhood. It became a family. ❤️⚾️

In less than 4 weeks, our fall season will be kicking off 💥 🔥

Our schedule is jam-packed with competitive tournaments and great opportunities for our players to compete at a high level and get in front of scouts and coaches.

But what we’ve built here goes far beyond baseball.

This team has become a family. A brotherhood. These boys compete for each other, push each other, support each other, and have built a bond that extends well beyond the field. ❤️⚾️

And we’re not quite finished building…

We’re looking for 2–3 more players to round out our 17/18U Fall 2026 roster—a few more brothers ready to work, compete, grow, and become part of this family.

𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑨 𝑾𝑬𝑬𝑲𝑬𝑵𝑫 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑶𝑻 𝑩𝑨𝑺𝑬𝑩𝑨𝑳𝑳 ‼️

Some weekends are about trophies. Others are about building character. This weekend was about both.

Saturday humbled us. We went 0-2 and found ourselves sitting 8th out of 11 teams. It would’ve been easy to hang our heads, make excuses, or give up.

But that’s not who these boys are.

They showed up Sunday with determination in their hearts and a belief in one another. They fought for every pitch, every out, and every inning. They won two straight games, including an incredible victory over the tournament’s #1 seed, proving that when they play together, they can compete with anyone.

Sunday tested them in every way possible. It was a long, exhausting day playing in 95-degree heat, with a 3-hour lightning delay in the middle of it all. Most teams would’ve run out of energy. These boys dug even deeper. They stayed locked in, encouraged one another, and never stopped believing.

Our tournament ended in the third game of the day on Sunday in a heartbreaking 2-1 loss, but there wasn’t a single ounce of quit in this team. They left everything they had on that field.

To climb from 8th place all the way to finish 3rd out of 11 teams says so much more than where we placed. It speaks to the resilience, grit, heart, and brotherhood these young men continue to build. This was, without a doubt, the best baseball we’ve played all season.

As coaches, we’re incredibly proud—not just because of how they played, but because of who they’re becoming. Wins and losses will fade, but the character they displayed today—through adversity, fatigue, disappointment, and perseverance—is something no scoreboard can measure.

Thank you to our families for standing beside us through every inning, every delay, and every challenge. And thank you to these young men for reminding us that true victory isn’t always measured by the final score, but by the heart you show when everything is against you.

We’ll give everything we’ve got one last time this weekend at Baseball City, then we’ll turn the page to the fall season with bigger goals, bigger dreams, and even bigger expectations.

Developing a travel baseball team—especially a faith-based one—is not for the weary.

When God places a mission on your heart, you can expect spiritual warfare. The enemy will do everything he can to create distractions, discouragement, division, and doubt. That’s why it’s so important to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and remember why He called you for such a time as this.

To every coach pouring into young athletes: thank you. If we’re volunteering countless hours to invest in your children, it’s not for our own glory. It’s not about rings, trophies, or recognition.

It’s about building young men of character.

It’s about teaching integrity when no one is watching, perseverance when things get hard, humility in victory, grace in defeat, and faith that extends far beyond the baseball field.

Winning games is exciting, but our greatest victory is seeing these players grow into men who love God, honor their families, respect others, and lead with courage.

The mission has always been bigger than baseball. Every practice, every conversation, every prayer, and every lesson is another opportunity to plant seeds that we pray will bear fruit for years to come.

Please continue to pray for our coaches, our players, and our families as we strive to glorify God in everything we do.
