I was that kid who walked out of Tampa Bay Mall only to find Bucs tickets on my mother's car door.
I was that kid who was given Bucs tickets while trick or treating during Halloween.
I was that kid who was a Bucs fan rooting for the cowboys during their Super Bowl runs in the 90's because all the old G's were cowboys fans and I didn't know what wining felt like during that time.
I was that kid in Miami that had to fight the Haitians defending my Bucs before the 1997 season π€£π€£π€£
I was the season Tix holder who walked in Raymond James and was in the section that had more of the opposing fans then actual Bucs fans.
So now I get to walk in Raymond JayBuc stadium and witness the unveiling of our Super Bowl 55 banner? The stadium and city I call home? The place where we won our 2nd Super Bowl? On opening night against the Dallas Cowboys?
God! This doesn't feel real. It feels like a dream. If it is a dream, wake me up now because I can't emotionally handle if this is NOT real. This doesn't happen for any NFL organization and its fans but it happened for the Bucs, the city, and its fans?!!! I can't sleep thinking about this.
To the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization and The Glazer family, Thank You for giving this city something we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Sincerely,
A die hard Buccaneer fanatic until I take my last breath
