We're excited to announce a few updates to our class schedule designed to give our members even more training opportunities while making it easier for families to train together. The new schedule takes effect on Monday August 24th, 2026
First, there are NO changes to our Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schedule. If you currently train Adult BJJ, your schedule remains exactly the same.
Here are the updates:
🥊 Adult Striking (Boxing & Muay Thai)
We've expanded and streamlined our striking program.
One of the biggest additions is a dedicated Adult Boxing class every Monday and Wednesday at 5:00 PM.
If you've ever wanted to try martial arts but felt intimidated by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai, boxing is one of the easiest martial arts to get started with. You'll get an incredible workout, learn practical skills, improve your fitness, and build confidence—without needing any prior experience.
Even better, these classes are scheduled during our kids' classes, making it easy for parents to train while their children are on the mats.
👨👩👧 Train While Your Kids Train
One of our goals has always been to help families train together.
Parents now have great options while their children are in class:
Monday & Wednesday at 5:00 PM: Adult Boxing
Tuesday & Thursday at 5:00 PM: Adult All Levels Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Instead of waiting in the lobby, come join us on the mats!
👊 Kids & Teen Program Updates
We've made several improvements to create a smoother progression through our youth program.
Highlights include:
New Little Ninjas and Big Ninjas classes
Added Teen No-Gi BJJ on Saturdays
Saturday Teen MMA now begins at 9:30 AM
Tiny Ninjas will remain on Tuesday and Thursday only at 4:30 PM. There are no Tiny Ninjas classes on Monday or Wednesday, but we added a Saturday Tiny Ninjas class at 10:00 AM to give families a convenient weekend option.
These changes create more opportunities for students to train, make up missed classes, and continue progressing throughout the week.
Thank you for being part of the South Tampa Jiu-Jitsu family.
