What a weekend for our girls! After getting back to game speed, these 2031 Impact girls gave us A LOT to be excited about.

• .410 Team Batting Average
• 60 Hits
• 20 Extra-Base Hits
• .472 Team OBP

Those numbers tell a story, but they don’t tell the whole story.

These girls have meshed extremely well so far. You can see the friendships and trust in one another growing. They push each other, compete with each other, and genuinely want to see their teammates succeed. And honestly, watching them hang out together during game breaks and rain delays might have been one of the best parts of the weekend. You can see this group getting tighter every week, and that chemistry is going to be a huge part of who we become.

We have to give a shoutout to our amazing families too. We’re pretty fortunate to have such a great group supporting these girls.

We saw a ton of positives this weekend, but we also saw plenty of things we need to clean up both as a team and as coaches. That’s exactly what the first tournament back is about learning, adjusting, and continuing to build.

And speaking of coaches… we are BEYOND thrilled to have Jayden Ruszkowski helping us out this season! She is going to be a HUGE help in getting these girls to the next level, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her with us.
