Sr Honda rebuild is finally finished! Pics from my phone will have to do for now because we were racing the rain and I didn't want my camera to get wet. Landon started on the pole for Sr Honda heat race and lead every lap until the rains came ending our day. We have to make it up later in the year.

You can definitely tell his car from others now!

Today was points race #5 at Space Coast QMRA.
In Lt 160 we started on the pole for the heat race and lead some laps when Riley passed for the lead. We had an epic battle for the lead and made a pass with just a few laps left. We were able to win the heat race, putting us on the pole for the feature. The feature was another hard faught battle and lead changes with Riley, but I was able to take the lead back and hold on to it for the win!
For Sr Honda we had 8 cars today! We started 4th in the 1st heat race and made a few passes for a 2nd place finish. We started 3rd in the feature and faught hard with a lot of shuffling. With the laps winding down, we got hit and threw the chain. The rockstar Race Dads had the car on its nose just as Mom was getting to the car. Mom held my helmet as the Dads went to work. The chain got stuck between the gear hub and the motor and would not go back on. The field was just about to go back to green and it finally went back on and they turned me loose. I had to restart in the back with only 5 laps to go but I was on a mission. I was able to go from 7th to 3rd in 5 laps and brought it home 3rd. Congratulations to Riley for the Sr Honda win!
Huge thank you to my Grandparents for all their help and all the rockstar race dads that helped get me back out on the track. You guys are awesome.
Next week is the last race in the Spring Series at Space Coast.

02/27/2022

No race today so let's play hockey! I played goalie for the 1st time today. It was fun and I learned a lot. I made some saves, but unfortunately not enough because we lost by 1. Hopefully I will get another chance to be in the net again this season.

Next Sunday we are back at Space Coast QMRA for the 1st points race of the season. Hopefully the Sr Honda car will be ready and I can run both cars!

On Sunday we wrapped up our Winter Series at Space Coast QMRA. I started and finished the heat race in 4th. For the feature I started 4th and fought really hard to move up, but ended up finishing 4th. I was able to bring home a 3rd place finish for the overall points in the series. This Winter Series was fun and I learned a lot about the Lt 160 and got some much needed seat time in it. Thank you so much to Team Kinley for all the hard work and for believing in me. The car was fast!
Now to put the Sr Honda car back together and get ready for the regular season to start in a few weeks.

Today was race number 2 of our Winter Series at Space Coast QMRA. We started 4th in the heat and finished 4th. For the feature we started 4th and gained two spots to for a 2nd place podium finish! Its always a good day when the car has to go straight to tech. We still have a lot to learn with the Lt160, but it was fun battling my friends on the track today!
Thank you so much to Team Kinley for putting together a fast car and all the hard work ❤
Hopefully we can bring him a win for the final race of the series.
