A huge congratulations to our 12 year old All Stars for winning their 3rd consecutive District 18 title and the first 11/12 Title in over 14 years!!!

Not only does our Teeners program have a bright future but so does our Tamaqua Area HS Blue Raiders baseball program for the foreseeable future!

Tamaqua 12's Defeat 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12

Tamaqua 12's were victorious against 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12 6-1 on Wednesday.

Tamaqua 12's opened the scoring in the first after Aidan S singled, scoring one run.

Owen H singled down the right field line, which helped 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12 tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

In the top of the sixth inning, Tamaqua 12's went back into the lead after 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12 committed an error, Aidan singled down the left field line, Jacob K singled to center field, Nolan R singled down the right field line, and Mason M singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Abram G started the game for Tamaqua 12's. The hurler gave up three hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking three. Owen started on the hill for 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12. The hurler gave up three hits and one run (zero earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking two. Grayson S appeared in relief for Tamaqua 12's.

Tamaqua 12's collected 10 hits in the game. Aidan drove the middle of the lineup, leading Tamaqua 12's with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Grayson and Aidan each collected two hits for Tamaqua 12's. Tamaqua 12's didn't commit a single error in the field. Finnegan D had the most chances in the field with eight.

Alex E, Vincent M, and Owen each collected one hit for 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12. Owen led 2026 Jim Thorpe All-Stars 11/12 with one run batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-2 on the day.

Sadly, Tamaqua’s Teener seasons have come to an end this past week.

We will be opening registrations for the 2027 season in November 2026 with a closing date of 2/28/2027 so we are able to accommodate the Schuylkill County Teener League cutoff dates for providing rosters.

Gavin Shannon's Strong Eye Leads Tamaqua Seniors Past Blue Mountain Sr. Teener

Gavin Shannon showed a strong eye at the plate on Wednesday, as Shannon walked three times while leading Tamaqua Seniors to a 13-5 victory over Blue Mountain Sr. Teener.

Tamaqua Seniors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Blue Mountain Sr. Teener committed an error, and Jayden Rex singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

A ground out by Aiden Smith extended the Tamaqua Seniors lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the third inning.

Blue Mountain Sr. Teener tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a ground out by Rj Corcoran, and a single by Aiden Konkus.

A single by Aiden Wessner gave Blue Mountain Sr. Teener the lead, 4-3, in the top of the fifth.

Tamaqua Seniors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead, 9-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Smith that drove in two.

Tamaqua Seniors added four more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on three hits. Ryder Holmberg hit a solo home run to center field, Smith doubled, scoring one run, and Cain Conner drew a walk, scoring one run.

Smith earned the win for Tamaqua Seniors. The hurler allowed nine hits and five runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Ethan Zulick took the loss for Blue Mountain Sr. Teener. The hurler went two innings, allowing one run (zero earned) on zero hits, striking out two and walking one. Jesse Strouse led things off on the mound for Blue Mountain Sr. Teener. The starter allowed three hits and two runs (zero earned) over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Evan Shannon tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Tamaqua Seniors in relief. The pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Smith provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Tamaqua Seniors with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Smith, Rex, and Gavin Edmonds each collected two hits for Tamaqua Seniors. Shannon led Tamaqua Seniors with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Holmberg, Shannon, and Edmonds each stole multiple bases for Tamaqua Seniors. Tamaqua Seniors stole 13 bases in the game.

Wessner, Konkus, and Corcoran each drove in one run for Blue Mountain Sr. Teener. Strouse collected two hits for Blue Mountain Sr. Teener in three at bats.

Tamaqua Seniors will travel to Pine Grove for their next game on Thursday.

Tamaqua Seniors Loses Pitchers Duel To Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026

Both teams were strong on the bump on Tuesday, but Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026 was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-2 victory over Tamaqua Seniors. Jayden Rex started the game for Tamaqua Seniors and recorded 21 outs.

Tamaqua Seniors opened the scoring in the fifth after Evan Shannon singled, scoring one run.

Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026 took the lead, 2-1, in the top of the sixth thanks to singles by Robert Selgrade, and Landon Wetzel.

Rex started the game for Tamaqua Seniors. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and three runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out two and walking none. Kolton Fetterolf stepped on the hill first for Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026. The starter gave up four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Jeffrey Oakes, Ryder Holmberg, Gavin Shannon, and Shannon each collected one hit for Tamaqua Seniors. Chayse Smith and Shannon were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Tamaqua Seniors.

Landon Barnett, Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026's number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Selgrade, Wetzel, and Matt Monahan each drove in one run for Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026. Frackville Red Teeners Senior 2026 were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Monahan made the most plays with eight.

Tamaqua Seniors Fall After Strong Showing By Hegins

Tamaqua Seniors couldn't keep up with Hegins and fell 19-8 on Tuesday at Teener - Tamaqua Dutch Hill.

Hegins got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kolton Clemmer doubled, scoring one run, Riley Kaslavage doubled, scoring one run, Brody Bowman drew a walk, scoring one run, Dylan Klock singled, scoring one run, Brady Wolfgang singled, scoring one run, Lennon Kline doubled, scoring three runs, and Brody Lesher singled, scoring one run.

Hegins added one run in the second. Damon Lettich singled down the right field line, making the score 10-0.

Hegins scored five runs on five hits in the top of the third inning. Kline doubled, scoring one run, Lesher singled, scoring one run, Kaslavage doubled, scoring two runs, and Lettich singled, scoring one run.

Tamaqua Seniors scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Daniel Miller singled, scoring one run, Zayden Wolf singled, scoring one run, Ryder Holmberg doubled, scoring two runs, Mason Evans tripled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Kaslavage earned the win for Hegins. The starter allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking two. Keith Fink took the loss for Tamaqua Seniors. The starting pitcher went one inning, surrendering nine runs on eight hits, striking out one and walking two.

Holmberg and Evans were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Tamaqua Seniors. Tamaqua Seniors's Aiden Smith, the number seven hitter, led Tamaqua Seniors with two hits in two at bats. Fink paced Tamaqua Seniors with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Tamaqua Seniors didn't commit a single error in the field. Holmberg had the most chances in the field with six.

Hegins amassed 21 hits in the game. Brayden Kimmel, Kline, Lettich, and Kaslavage each collected three hits for Hegins. Kline led Hegins with four runs batted in. The first baseman went 3-for-3 on the day. Lukas Lucht, Lesher, and Wolfgang each collected multiple hits for Hegins.

Tamaqua Seniors Secure Win Against Mrs. T’s 17U

Tamaqua Seniors were victorious against Mrs. T’s 17U 7-5 on Friday at Teener - Tamaqua Dutch Hill.

Mrs. T’s 17U were the first to get on the board in the first when Freddy Gradwell grounded out, scoring one run.

Tamaqua Seniors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Aiden Smith that drove in two.

Mrs. T’s 17U tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a ground out by Gradwell, a walk by Gabe Saba, and a ground out by Joswell Lajara.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Tamaqua Seniors went back into the lead after Smith grounded out, and Colton Ge**er singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Evan Shannon earned the win for Tamaqua Seniors. The reliever allowed five hits and four runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking four. Jayden Rex stepped on the hill first for Tamaqua Seniors. The hurler surrendered three hits and one run over two innings, striking out none and walking none. Lajara stepped on the bump first for Mrs. T’s 17U. The hurler allowed four hits and five runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two.

Smith led Tamaqua Seniors with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Number seven hitter, Ge**er, showed the depth of Tamaqua Seniors's lineup, by leading them with two hits in two at bats. Rex paced Tamaqua Seniors with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Tamaqua Seniors turned one double play in the game.

Gradwell provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Mrs. T’s 17U with two runs batted in. Rodney Knittle and Owen Kerlavage each collected two hits for Mrs. T’s 17U.

Next up for Tamaqua Seniors is a game against Hegins on Tuesday.

Tamaqua Seniors Fall After Strong Showing By Schuylkill Valley

Tamaqua Seniors had trouble keeping up with Schuylkill Valley in a 10-0 loss on Thursday at Teener - Schuylkill Valley (Middleport).

Schuylkill Valley got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Rynard doubled to center field, Trezise singled down the left field line, Emerson singled to left field, and Schuylkill Valley scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

A hit by a pitch, and a double by Gavin helped Schuylkill Valley extend their early lead in the second.

Schuylkill Valley added one run in the third. Murray grounded out, making the score 9-0.

Danny Markus earned the win for Schuylkill Valley. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking none. Aiden Smith took the loss for Tamaqua Seniors. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one. Gavin Shannon started on the bump for Tamaqua Seniors. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and eight runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two.

Cain Conner led Tamaqua Seniors with one hit in two at bats.

Schuylkill Valley amassed 10 hits in the game. Gavin provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Schuylkill Valley with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Pavlko, Gavin, and Trezise each collected two hits for Schuylkill Valley. Trezise stole two bases. Schuylkill Valley ran wild on the base paths, tallying seven stolen bases for the game.

Tamaqua Seniors Triumphs Over Branch Miners In Late-Game Victory

Tamaqua Seniors snatched the lead late in their 5-4 victory over Branch Miners on Tuesday. The game was tied at four in the top of the seventh when Brady Bartczak drew a walk, scoring one run.

Tamaqua Seniors were the first to get on the board in the third when Bartczak singled, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, Branch Miners went back into the lead after Jason Correll tripled to center field, Mikey Hashin singled to center field, and Colin Kadingo singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Tamaqua Seniors tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a walk by Daniel Miller, and a steal of home by Cain Conner.

Branch Miners took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Hashin singled, scoring one run, to give Branch Miners the lead, 4-3.

Conner hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Tamaqua Seniors tie the game at four in the top of the sixth.

Chayse Smith earned the win for Tamaqua Seniors. The reliever allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking one. Jayden Rex started on the mound for Tamaqua Seniors. The starter allowed three hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking three. Correll began the game for Branch Miners. The left-handed pitcher allowed two hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking seven.

Smith and Bartczak each collected one hit for Tamaqua Seniors. Miller, Conner, and Bartczak each drove in one run for Tamaqua Seniors. Tamaqua Seniors had patience at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Colton Ge**er and Bartczak led the team with two walks each. Zayden Wolf stole two bases.

Hashin went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Branch Miners in hits. Correll, Kadingo, and Hashin each drove in one run for Branch Miners.
