Congratulations to Drew Cook on an incredible season. Before the Bassmaster Elite Series, before the AOY race, Drew was out on the water competing with us as a member of the Bass Fishing Club at Florida State University. He graduated from FSU in 2017 and turned pro shortly after.
Seeing someone who started in our club go on to finish 3rd in the Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year standings, with 5 Top 20s and 3 Top 5s against the best anglers in the world, is exactly the kind of story we want more of. From Alabama to New York and everywhere in between, he showed the kind of consistency it takes to compete at that level all season long.
This is what we’re building toward. Proud to call him one of ours. Congrats, Drew.

That’s a wrap on the Summer Virtual Tournament 🎣 Congrats to Tanner Scarborough, who took home the win in both categories with a 104.5” total and a 23.5” big bass. Full standings are in the slides.
A huge thank you to every angler who fished with us this summer. Beyond the competition, your entries directly support our club and help us grow the program. It means the world to have this kind of support behind us.

$5 to enter, submit your best 5 bass by length, and the top angler takes home a $100 Bass Pro gift card. Open to all Florida anglers, any bass species counts, you don’t have to be an FSU student to compete.

🎣 FSU Bass Fishing Club presents: The Virtual Fishing Tournament
Open to anyone. Fish anywhere. Submit your catch. Compete for prizes. 🏆
This is a fundraiser tournament to support our club for the upcoming season — every entry helps us compete next year.
From June 12 – August 15, fish your home waters and submit your five longest largemouth bass by length. Prizes go out to the angler with the 5 longest bass, plus a Big Fish award for the single longest bass. $100 Bass Pro Gift Card for 1st and $50 for big bass.
📋 How to enter:

    2    $5 entry fee
    3    Your ticket confirmation includes the link to join the GroupMe — that’s where you’ll submit your catches

The FSU Bass Fishing Club is building the premier collegiate program in the Southeast — and we need boats to do it.
Whether you’re a student who’d roll with the team, a local willing to lend yours for tournament days, or a donor ready to give a boat a legacy, there’s a spot for you in what we’re building.
