You know something isn’t working anymore.

You’re tired.
You’re stretched thin.
You don’t feel like yourself.
And somewhere inside, you know you can’t keep living this way.

But then comes the harder question:

What needs to change?

And honestly, you don’t even have the mental space to figure that out right now.

There’s always something that needs your attention. Work. Family. Bills. Responsibilities. Someone needing something from you.

So you keep going.

Not because you’re okay with how things are—but because stopping long enough to think feels like one more thing you don’t have time for.

Sometimes lack of clarity isn’t about not caring.

Sometimes you’ve simply been surviving for so long that you haven’t had enough space to hear yourself.

And recognizing that may be the first step.

Save this if you’ve been feeling this way lately.

Sometimes you lose clarity because you’ve spent so much time responding to what everyone and everything else requires of you that you’ve stopped checking in with yourself.

Work. Family. Bills. Responsibilities. Problems that need solving. Another day to get through.

And after living that way long enough, someone can ask:

“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭?”

And you honestly don’t know.

Survival mode leaves very little room to think about who you are, what matters to you, or what you want your life to look like.

Sometimes the first step forward isn’t making a big decision.

It’s slowing down long enough to reconnect with yourself and get clear about where you are and what needs to change.

That’s part of why I created 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱: 𝗔 𝟯𝟬-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure what you want anymore, 𝘈𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 was created to help you slow down, reflect, and find your way back to clarity.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗼 → 𝘁𝗮𝗽 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲.

Are you moving forward, or just staying busy?

It’s possible to be doing a lot and still feel like you’re not really moving forward.

You can be productive, responsible, checking things off your list, and handling everything that needs your attention while still wondering why you don’t feel any closer to where you want to be.

Sometimes the problem isn’t a lack of effort.

Sometimes we’re giving so much time and energy to what’s urgent that we haven’t stopped to ask what actually matters most in this season.

That’s where clarity becomes important.

Ask yourself:
Of everything I’m giving my time and energy to right now, what is actually moving me toward what matters most?

You may not need to do more. You may need greater clarity about what deserves your attention.

If this resonates with you, drop a comment and tell me:

Where in your life do you feel busy but not really moving forward?

What you pursue, protect, and prioritize reveals what you value most.

What are you pursuing most intensely right now?

What are you protecting most fiercely?

What are you prioritizing most consistently?

And what do those answers reveal about what you truly treasure?

Don’t answer the way you think a Christian should answer. Be honest.

Awareness helps you recognize where something may have quietly gotten out of alignment. And that realization isn’t an invitation to condemn yourself.

It’s an invitation to realign.

Because if we’re not intentional, we can spend an entire day tending to the life God gave us while spending very little meaningful time with the God who gave us the life.

Pay attention to what has your attention. It may be revealing what has your heart.

Deep roots show up as confidence - knowing who you are because you know whose you are.

They show up as peace that isn’t dependent on your circumstances, and trust that keeps obeying God even when obedience doesn’t immediately make sense.

When your life is deeply rooted in Christ, you are never lacking in what truly matters.

That's a different kind of wealth.

Over on the podcast, Living By God’s Design, we’re beginning something new.

Over the next several months, I’ll be walking through lessons from my journal, Aligned: A 30-Day Guided Journey to Clarity, Purpose, and Intentional Living.

Each week, we’ll take one day from Aligned and go a little deeper so you can examine your own life, apply what you’re hearing, and become more intentional about living in alignment with God.

For these first six episodes, we’re focusing on Spiritual Connection and Wealth: Being Rich in God.
We begin with Day 1: God as the Foundation, a conversation about what happens when God becomes more than a part of your life and truly becomes the Source of it.

In this episode, we talk about how striving, control, and self-reliance can quietly pull us out of alignment, and why returning to God brings greater peace, clarity, and purpose.

If you’ve been carrying too much on your own, this episode is an invitation to reconnect with your Source and build from the right foundation.

Here’s one small way to practice living with intention today:

Before you say yes, pause.

Before you commit your time, your energy, your money, your attention, or your emotional capacity, ask yourself:

Does this align with who I’m becoming?

That one question can bring a lot of clarity.

Because not every opportunity is assigned to you.
Not every request deserves your yes.
Not every familiar pattern needs to continue.
Not every urgent thing is actually important.

Sometimes the most intentional decision you can make is to stop long enough to choose on purpose.

Not from guilt.
Not from pressure.
Not from fear of disappointing people.

But from wisdom.
From peace.
From alignment with the life God is leading you to build.

Today, choose one decision you’ll make more intentionally.

That’s how you begin.

A lot of women are making decisions from exhaustion, pressure, guilt, or fear.

And that’s how life starts to feel scattered.

You say yes because you don’t want to disappoint anyone.
You keep doing what drains you because it’s familiar.
You put off what matters because everything urgent keeps pulling at you.
You move through the day reacting instead of choosing.

But living with intention requires you to come back to yourself and ask better questions.

Who am I becoming?
What kind of life is God leading me to build?
Does this decision align with that?
Or am I choosing from a pressurized place again?

You don’t have to keep making decisions from survival mode.

You can pause.
You can pray.
You can choose differently.

And little by little, those intentional choices begin to reshape your life.
