What makes the Steelheads different? 🎣

There's no shortage of youth travel teams in the South Sound. Here's what we do differently.

1. Development first, wins second.
At 9U, the scoreboard doesn't build a ballplayer — reps do. Every practice is built around real instruction: swing mechanics, arm care, footwork, baseball IQ. Winning follows when the fundamentals are there.

2. Small, committed roster.
We carry 12 players. That means more reps, more at-bats, and more coaching attention for every kid. We ask for commitment — and in return, your kid isn't riding pine.

3. Pacific Northwest identity.
The Steelhead isn't just a logo. It's a PNW fish that fights upstream — tough, resilient, from here. That's the identity we're building. Navy, teal, and chrome. Tacoma on the chest. Proud of where we come from.

4. Families we actually want in the dugout.
Culture is everything. We're building a program where parents are partners, not spectators — and where kids look forward to Tuesday practice as much as Saturday's game.

⚾ Welcome to Tacoma Steelheads Baseball

We're a 9U select travel baseball program built right here in the South Sound — for ballplayers born on or after May 1, 2015.

The Steelheads are about three things:
🔹 Real player development
🔹 Competitive baseball against strong PNW clubs
🔹 A team culture families actually want to be part of
