Paws & Pars Paws & Pars is an annual event where we have a golf scramble and vendors to help us raise money for a local rescue called New Hope Pet Rescue!

🐾⛳ PAWS & PARS IS GETTING CLOSER! ⛳🐾

We're counting down the days until Paws & Pars on August 29, and we couldn't be more excited!

We still have a few openings left in our golf scramble and are currently looking for hole sponsors to help make this event a success. The scramble tees off around 10:30 AM, with festivities running from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

We are wrapping up our amazing vendor lineup and are excited to announce that we'll have nearly 40 vendors joining us! Plus, we're thrilled to welcome Chief Ice Cream, Sweet Oven, with some yummy smash Burgers & hot dogs. We'll also have coffee, dirty sodas, and plenty of other delicious treats available throughout the day.

This event is open to the public and family-friendly! Bring the kids and enjoy activities, games, silent auctions, raffle prizes, great food, shopping, and more.

Most importantly, every dollar raised helps support New Hope Rescue and the incredible work they do for animals in need.

Bring your pup and snap some fun photos together to remember the day! Whether you’re competing in games, adopting a plush friend, decorating golf balls, or just enjoying the atmosphere, there will be something for everyone.

Please note: participation prices for games, activities, photos, and adoption fees will vary. All proceeds help support rescue animals in need. 🐾

Hey y’all! If you could please share this post, I would really appreciate it.

I’m looking for someone who would be willing to donate a little of their time at this year’s Paws & Pars event to take photos throughout the day. This would include candid shots of the event, vendors, attendees, and their pets.

I’m also planning to set up a photo area where families can have pictures taken together or with their dogs (or any animal they bring). We would charge a small fee for these photos, with all proceeds going to support our local pet rescue.

You do not need to be a professional photographer—just someone who enjoys taking pictures and would like to help out for a great cause.

🐾 Paws & Pars is Looking for Volunteers!
Event is August 29th. Times for volunteers will be different and will be communicated through email! ⛳️

We’re gearing up for an amazing day and could really use some extra helping hands! If you love being part of fun community events and want to support a great cause, we’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer roles may include:
• Helping run games & activities
• Assisting vendors (including giving them quick bathroom breaks)
• Directing traffic & parking
• General event help wherever needed

No experience needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed! 💛

✨ Volunteers will receive a Paws & Pars event shirt! ✨

I designed this shortly after last year’s event, and I’m a little obsessed! This logo even features a couple of pups you might already recognize from the course. 💛

A huge thank you to Val and Wawasee Golf Course for hosting Paws and Pars for the second year in a row! 💚 Being a nonprofit rescue dedicated to helping our community, it truly means so much when local businesses and people step up to support what we do.

We are primarily volunteer-run, and all of our support comes from people just like Val. She poured countless hours—likely with plenty of sweat and tears—into organizing this event, and it has already grown so much in just its second year. What she did for the rescue will go a long way in helping us continue our mission. 🐾⛳️

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, Val, and everyone who joined us to make this event a success! 💕
