There is something so powerful, yet so peaceful, about this moment.

The world around me is loud, fast, and full of chaos… but inside this race car, everything gets quiet.

For those few laps, the noise disappears. The stress, the problems, and everything weighing on my mind fades away.

It’s just me, the car, and the next lap ahead.

Racing isn’t just about speed or competition. Sometimes it’s the one place where my mind can finally slow down.

Nothing sucks more then not having enough shop space.. Think we finally have the clutch issue figured out on Tango waiting on parts so best get started on ole Teggy to get it ready to go Thursday night at Plymouth motor speedway for $1,000 to win 😎

🏆 Your 2026 Reserve 4 Cylinder Track Champion at Plymouth Motor Speedway… Jerime Damron ! 🏆

What a season it was! Jerime and Cecil N Stacy Vanblaricom were on top of the 4 Cylinder division all year in Cecil's VBD 03 hotrod, battling every week and showing consistent speed every time!

Unfortunately, one tough night ended up being the difference in the championship chase. Jerime couldn’t start the feature because of a leaking fuel issue, and by the time the fuel cap was found and the problem was fixed, it was already past halfway through the feature. That one night was enough to change the outcome.

The funny part? We never actually set out chasing points this year. The goal was to show up, test, and keep figuring out the car for the bigger events ahead. But once you find yourself on top, it’s pretty hard to give that spot away. 😎

Congratulations to Jason Harman and his VBD hot rod on becoming the 2026 Plymouth Motor Speedway 4 Cylinder Track Champion! 🏆

Jason has been fast all year long and has been putting on a show everywhere he goes. He’s earned this one, and we couldn’t be prouder to have a VBD car sitting at the top of the standings.

Thank you to everyone who supports VBD and all of our drivers. This season has been one heck of a ride! 🏁🔥

Metanoia. Have you heard that term?

Not just change, but a complete transformation of the mind.

The older I get, the more I realize that success in sports and in life has very little to do with talent alone.
It has everything to do with the moments that change the way you think.

The setbacks that teach you resilience.
The losses that teach you gratitude.
The criticism that teaches you confidence.
The disappointments that force you to redefine what winning actually means.

At some point, you stop chasing validation and start chasing growth.

You stop asking, "Why is this happening to me?" and start asking, "What is this trying to teach me?"

You stop waiting until you feel ready and start becoming the person who is willing to do the work anyway.

That is metanoia.

It's realizing your greatest competition isn't the person in the next lane. It's the version of yourself that still believes fear, doubt, excuses, or other people's opinions deserve a seat at the table.

Every season of life asks you to become someone new. Not because who you were wasn't enough but because who you're becoming requires a different mindset.

The scoreboard changes.
The cars change.
The goals change.
People come and go.
But the person you become through the process is the one thing you get to keep forever.

Keep choosing growth.
Keep choosing discipline over comfort.
Keep choosing belief over fear.

Sometimes the greatest victory isn't the checkered flag, the check, or the championship.

Sometimes it's looking back and realizing you're no longer the person who once thought you couldn't. 💪🏻

🇺🇸➡️🇨🇦 The Michigan Irish family is making some noise north of the border! 🍀🏁

Dalton Irish has been one of the cars to beat all season, and that speed didn't stay in Michigan. He hauled it to Canada and immediately laid down FAST TIME with a 17.170, proving this team can unload and be a contender anywhere they race.
When you've got speed, it travels.

Congratulations to Dalton Irish and the entire team on another impressive performance. They keep showing that consistency, preparation, and hard work translate no matter what track they're on.

The statement has been made... and it doesn't look like the #18 is slowing down anytime soon. 💪🏁

What better to do on a gloomy rainy day and all events around you cancel…. Finally spend some time on Tango we have been fighting a slipping clutch all season long. The car has showed speed for the handful of nights it’s been out but yet to show full potential with work schedule and shop schedule being jammed packed haven’t had the time to put the work in on Tango unfortunately. We will set focus on it the rest of weekend to get it right have some bigger shows coming up that we are looking forward to attending
