WOAA had a great Mother’s Day Tournament at Jackson Park this past weekend! They were able to secure a Bracket Championship through their hard work and determination in bracket play. Strong pitching by Jaelyn Maney and Penny Herren in Game 1 led to 3 innings with no Hits or Runs scored on Havoc. This couldn’t have been done without amazing defense from the outfield and rest of the team committing zero errors. Great batting by Jaelyn Maney and Emma Webb helped us cruise to a 3-0 Win! Game 2 ended in a walk-off win fashion with a final score of 3-2. Top-notch pitching by Maney and hits by Draelyn Saunooke and Bristol Meyer helped secure the championship win. And as the same with Game 1, lights out defense from the infield was crucial for the win.

WOAH showed up and showed out this weekend at the Battle on the Turf at Bob Lewis!

On Saturday our girls played hard to go 2-1 in pool play and placed as the #5 Gold Bracket seed in a 12 team bracket. Over the weekend, base running and stealing were on fire 🔥 as our girls scored multiple runs. Thanks to our pitcher and catcher duos (Jaelyn, Haley, Penny, Draelyn, Makenzy, Hope) for being lights-out with many strike outs and few dropped 3rd strikes. We couldn’t have a better defense without our fielders who showed out (Hallie, Bristol, Frankie, Emma).

Congratulations to Emma on her triple to the back of the fence! She’s so close to getting it over!

Going up against many 2nd year 10U teams as a 1st year team isn’t the easiest, but these girls are competing on the same level, making us proud and showing progress every tournament.

CONGRATULATIONS to our tournament MVPs from this weekend at Bob Lewis!! These girls worked hard to earn this with a double play to bring a win in pool play for (Draelyn) and being unstoppable at 3rd base (Bristol)! We are so proud of you both!

💜🧡 HAVOC showed up and showed out this past Saturday at the Spring Grand Slam in Shelby! Our girls were runner up in the Silver Bracket after a hard-fought win during bracket play! They are showing improvement every week and their dedication to the love of softball is so obvious by their smiles! A lot of our girls branched out and tried new positions and overcame mental battles to bring the team to victory. Always proud of these ladies! 🧡💜
