Zayna, we hope your birthday is filled with as much excitement as a walk-off win, as many smiles as a dugout full of teammates, and absolutely ZERO practice swings before cake! 🎂😂

Thank you for bringing your talent, determination, and positive energy to our 18U squad. Whether you’re making plays on the field, cheering on your teammates, or keeping everyone laughing, you make our team better every day.

Seventeen looks pretty good on you! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things this year has in store—both on and off the softball field.

🥎 APPALACHIAN OUTLAWS 12U TOURNAMENT RECAP 🥎

The Appalachian Outlaws 12U battled hard all day in Cherokee, showing heart, hustle, and determination from the first pitch to the last!

🔥 GAME ONE – WALK-OFF WIN! 🔥

The Outlaws opened the day in dramatic fashion, defeating Mountain Mayhem 12U 4-3 with a walk-off victory!

With the game tied in the bottom of the fourth inning, Jenna S came through in the clutch with the game-winning RBI single to secure the win for the Outlaws.

⭐ Kinley M was outstanding in the circle, tossing four innings while allowing just two earned runs and striking out 9 batters.

Offensively, Jenna S, Callie D, Juliette, and Jacelyn S each collected hits, while Callie and Juliette wreaked havoc on the bases with multiple steals.

💪 GAME TWO

The Outlaws faced a tough Tyger Rivercats 31/32 squad and came up short 5-0.

Callie D continued to be aggressive on the basepaths, swiping two bases for the Outlaws.

💙 GAME THREE

The day wrapped up against Patriot Fastpitch Club Walker. While the final score didn’t go the Outlaws’ way, the team continued to battle until the final out.

⭐ Kinley M delivered another strong performance in the circle, striking out an impressive 10 batters in four innings of work.

The defense also turned a double play, highlighting the team’s continued growth and effort.

This group continues to compete, learn, and improve every time they take the field. Proud of the fight, energy, and resilience these young ladies showed throughout the day!

🥎 TOURNAMENT #8 RECAP 🥎

The Appalachian Outlaws 14U rolled into Cherokee ready to compete and left with a strong 3-1 record on the day!

💥 Game 1
The girls jumped out early with a Payton Houston RBI double, but TN Stars Fastpitch - Wheeler put together a big second inning and handed the Outlaws their first loss of the day.

🔥 Game 2
The Outlaws answered in a BIG way, exploding for 13 hits in a dominant 12-0 victory over Smoky Mountain Wildfire!

⭐ Braelyn Murphy led the charge with an inside-the-park home run and 3 RBIs.
⭐ Corbin Young earned the shutout win in the circle.
⭐ The defense was flawless, committing ZERO errors.

🚨 Game 3
The battle-tested Outlaws found themselves in a thriller against Line Drive Elite. With the game tied in the bottom of the fourth, Blainlee Sanford delivered the game-winning RBI groundout to secure a 6-4 WALK-OFF victory!

⭐ Braelyn Murphy picked up the win in the circle.
⭐ Ava Walkingstick, Makenna Creasman, and Abigail McGahee each collected two hits.

⚔️ Game 4
The day wrapped up against a talented Velocity XII squad. The Outlaws battled hard but came up short 6-1.

🔥 Ava Walkingstick – .875 Batting Average
🔥 Abigail McGahee – .750 Batting Average

Ava was a spark plug all day long, collecting multiple multi-hit games and creating havoc on the bases. Kenna and Abigail stayed hot at the plate and helped power the offense throughout the tournament.

This team continues to grow, compete, and battle every inning. Proud of the way these girls responded after adversity and kept fighting all day long.

The Appalachian Outlaws 18U Showcase opened their 2026 season in style, going a PERFECT 3-0 at the Montreat College Showcase Tournament in Black Mountain!

🏆 Game 1

The bats came alive early as the Outlaws pounded out 16 hits in a dominant victory. Kaiyah Hampton led the charge with 4 RBIs, while L. Wahnetah collected 3 hits. Madison Potter, Aaliyah Fuqua, and Payton Johnson all had multiple-hit games as the Outlaws stole 8 bases and played flawless defense.

Talk about grit! After falling behind 6-0, the Outlaws refused to quit. Haley Loctus started the rally and Kylie Henson delivered the knockout blow with a go-ahead 2-run homer to complete an incredible comeback victory. Janna Phelan earned the win in the circle while L. Wahnetah slammed the door shut in relief.

The Outlaws finished the day with another hard-fought win. Kylie Henson drove in 4 runs, Janna Phelan collected 2 hits and earned the win, and the defense once again played error-free softball. Haley Loctus was everywhere on defense, recording a team-high 7 plays.

🥎🔥 WEEKEND TAKEOVER ALERT! 🔥🥎

The Appalachian Outlaws organization is loading up and hitting the road for another action-packed weekend of softball!

💥 Our 12U squad is heading into their SIXTH tournament of the season at the beautiful John Crowe Complex in Cherokee, NC. These young ladies continue to grow, compete, and leave it all on the field every single weekend!

💥 Our 14U team is gearing up for Tournament #8 of the season! Eight tournaments, countless memories, and a group of athletes who never back down from a challenge. They are ready to battle and represent the Outlaws way!

💥 And making their season debut… our 18U Showcase team takes the field for the FIRST time this year at the Montreat College Showcase Tournament in Black Mountain, NC! This group is ready to showcase their talent, compete against top competition, and put their hard work on display for college coaches and fans alike.

Three teams.
Three opportunities.
One family.

From Cherokee to Black Mountain, Appalachian Outlaws softball will be bringing the energy, the passion, and the fight all weekend long. We couldn’t be more proud of these athletes, coaches, and families who continue to represent our program with heart and determination.

The Appalachian Outlaws are headed to Cherokee, NC this Saturday, June 6th, ready to battle it out at the John Crowe Complex!

💎 DOUBLE BLING WEEKEND 💎 means the stakes are high and the competition will be fierce. Our girls have been putting in the work, and they’re ready to leave it all on the field.
