First Practice of the Season! 🥎💙

And just like that…we’re back! Our first practice of the season is officially in the books, and what a great way to start! 🥎

Although we had a smaller group than usual with so many families still enjoying their summer vacations, the girls who were there came ready to work, learn, and grow. They showed up with open minds, eager attitudes, and were incredibly receptive to coaching. That is exactly the kind of energy we love to see!

There was so much learning, encouragement, laughter, and bonding throughout practice. It was one of those practices where you leave feeling like, this is going to be a special season. ❤️

We’re so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see this group grow together…not just as softball players, but as teammates and friends.

Season 2026…we’re ready for you! 🥎

✨ As this season marks the end of the Firebirds 16B Hieatzman team, we’d like to thank our coaches, players, families, and everyone who supported and followed us over the last year.

Tuesday is our final tryout for the new 18U Freedom Firebirds team, and we can’t wait to meet a few more players!

We’ve had an incredible turnout so far, and we’re looking forward to seeing some new faces. We’re considering all positions and looking for athletes who bring enthusiasm, dedication, positive energy, and a genuine love for the game.
