As the season comes to a close and their Nationals run ends, the 12U Firebirds can look back on a year where they have so much to be proud of.

Their 35-8 "C" team record over the Fall and through the beginning of Spring, along with being 2x USSSA tournament champions, earned them a promotion to "B" level in May. For the rest of the season, they battled playing "B" teams. They didn't pull down as many wins as they did when they were a "C" team, but they proved they belonged.

Over the Winter, the team wasn't sure if they'd even be ready for competing at "C" Nationals this year, let alone "A/B" Nationals. And yet...

They wrapped up their "A/B" Nationals run late on Friday, battling to the very end in extra innings. Their run differential over the 7 games they played was 1.7, which means all of their games were very, very close.

This team has learned to trust each other and work so well together that, when they're on their game, their defense is a force 💪 On and off the field, this group of girls cheer for each other's accomplishments and support each other in hard times. They don't point fingers, they lift each other up.

They'll be moving up to 13/14U for the 2026-2027 season and they're sure to make some noise!!! Go Firebirds!!! 💙🥎❤️🐦‍🔥
