It was a great night! Started second in the heat and finished first. Redraw put him starting P1 for the 15 lap feature. He had to work for it to get around another car but once he was out front he drove his race and parked it in victory lane. 🏁

August 29, 2026 Recap

We had a little rain to start the night but it ended up being a great night at the track. Zach qualified 9th after having to be the first one out to qualified after drawing 1 with 20 cars.
The heat race he started 5th and finished 5th. The 5th place finish put him starting 9th in the feature.
Zach ran a great race and had a great finish by placing fourth. He did get hit in the left rear tire coming out of four for the checkered by another car that had something break, but was able to hold to it. Unfortunately that hit bent the axle and rear end housing. This week has been hot working in the shop with this crazy weather. New rear end and some work under the hood we are almost ready for tomorrow night. 🏁

Late 8/22/26 Race Recap
It’s been a busy week back to school. Last weekend the Badger Sprints were at Sycamore so the heat line ups were down by pill draw. Zach drew 13 which was a great number for no qualifying however 5 other drives drew lower 🤦‍♀️ and he started third in the second heat. He finished his heat in third place.
That put him starting sixth on the outside for the feature. He was running great in a pack of cars when another car in the front of the group spun coming out of two and Zach had no where to go, he did manage to slow down and not hit the other car to hard. After he came to a stop another car came around two and ran into the back of Zach. He pulled into the hot pit to fix his rear quarter panel and had to start in the back. He was able to race hard against the cars in the back and finish seventh for the night.

The car is loaded up and ready to go tonight!
