REDUNDANCY

We like to practice redundancy when we build our kits for what ever situation we find ourselves in. Try to carry 2 or 3 of the basics to make sure you have a way incase something happends to one. Multiple ways of being able to start a fire, purify water, make shelter, find or have food. To survive you have to be the smartest one in knowing how to get yourself out of a bad situation. It is up to you to know your gear and supplies. The give away is approaching and we will give everyone one last chance to enter for the chance to win.

Survival tip #1 of many to come
SNAKE BITE. If you are ever bit by a snake and don't know if it is poisonous or not, treat it like it is. DO NOT TRY TO SUCK THE VENOM OUT. Keep the limb lower then the heart and contact emergency personnel immediately and describe what the snake looks like if possible. Try to keep your heart rate as low as you can. Do not do anything to raise it. Sit or lay down. You can move or walk only if it is to get to help. Only if you are alone and only a short distance. Clean the bite with warm soapy water and cover the bite with a clean sterile bandage. We are not doctors or a wildlife experts, so if you have any questions regarding snake bites contact an expert to learn more.
