This board was custom built for the Carolina’s and to be able to ride almost any wave. Very stable with a lot of volume. Great beginner board or any Longboard surfer!

Was ridden as a single fin so it comes with a 9” Future fin, however it can be set up as tri fin.

For Sale:

6’0” Gary Wilson Spottail Hot Rod Thruster.

This board has some history to it, and only if it could talk. This board was found by me and bought from its previous owner in terrible condition. Multiple holes within the board, and the entire front nose was gone.. literally half broken off besides the stringer still being intact. The fin boxes were broken, and it was just a complete disaster. The previous owner told me they were using it as wall art and that they didn’t think it could ever be fixed.

Long story short, a lot of hours, fiberglass, epoxy, sanding, sandpaper, and fabricating… we have a fully restored, water tight, rideable board.

Now all the damage has been fixed, it does have some dings but everything is water tight and the board has a ton of character.

Comes with traction pad and FCS II Fins that were custom painted by me. It truly is a spot tail!

This board looks great and gets a lot of attention due to the “toasted and vintage” look, but rides better than a new board.

This year the Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade is offering a surfboard raffle. The board was designed and crafted locally by Savage Surfboards and all proceeds will directly benefit the parade (which is a registered 501-C3 non profit). We will be out at several events over the course of the next few months. Please share with your family and friends. Entering is simple by just scanning the QR code on the flyer.
