Our Hockey Life For decades elite hockey players from around the world have set out to cities near & far to chase their hockey dreams.

“Obsessions of a Hockey Wife” is designed to act as a resource guide for all professional hockey families on the move & to highlight our lives outside the arena as well. To this day traveling alongside them & supporting them on this journey are their independent & fiercely loyal girlfriends, wives & kids. This website has in a sense been created to celebrate the many friendships that the hockey wo

rld has provided me personally & to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to all of them. Without the insight & recommendations from my hockey girlfriends (& their hockey girlfriends) it would never would have been possible to come up with all the fantastic information on this site. Nor more importantly, would i have even survived the past 21 years of picking up & moving whenever the ” Hockey Gods” decided it was time . Whether its Trade Deadline or Free Agency , we walk around with our phones in hand waiting to either call a friend for help or be called by a friend setting out on a new hockey adventure.

Are you eager to gather and grow in your faith and hockey community? Please consider joining us at an annual gathering for current and retired pro hockey singles or couples(US+overseas) July 14-17th. These few days promise quality time growing with other pro athletes, great messages, relaxation after the season or purposeful time spent after you’re retired. Please join us as we send Congratulations & loving support to one of our hockey families, Kate & TJ on the arrival of their sweet baby girl, Charlotte. Charlotte has a rare condition and will be in the NICU for a prolonged period of time undergoing complex procedures. Their family has created a GoFundMe page (link in our bio) to help ease their financial burden so that these first time parents can focus their energy on being there for Charlotte 💝.
