Can't say that our group is ready to train someone to this extreme, but this is the epitome of determination and will to overcome whatever may otherwise hold you back. You can do anything if you put your mind and heart into it. Never underestimate God's will in your life. If he puts it on your heart, then the two of you can see it through.

One Unexpected Inclusive School Activity: Archery..
For students with physical disabilities, archery can be made inclusive, enabling full participation through modifications such as mounted bows or mechanical release aids. Take, for example, student archer Dylan Black. Born with bilateral phocomelia, a congenital condition that caused malformation of his upper limbs, Dylan shoots using mouth tabs (used to draw the string with the mouth), and recently scored the top spot in his division. Rather than seeing his disability as a reason not to participate, he views the opportunity as a challenge to overcome. Dylan uses archery as a way to show everyone what they can do if they stop limiting themselves.

Elijah took Elisha on a spiritual journey that is the starting point of every person’s walk with God (Read: 2 Kings 2:1-9)

1️⃣ Gilgal / The Place of Cutting Away

God loves us enough to meet us where we are, but He loves us too much to leave us as we are. The meaning for Gilgal is “to roll away”.

Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the shame of your slavery in Egypt. So that place has been called Gilgal to this day.”

2️⃣ Bethel / The Place of Dwelling

God calls us to more than just having knowledge but Him, but into a deeper love relationship with Him. Bethel is the place where God dwells.

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it… He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.” Genesis‬ ‭28‬:‭16‬, ‭19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

3️⃣ Jericho / The Place of Warfare

The enemy doesn’t concern himself with those who sit on the sidelines of their faith but rather those who are actively living it out.

“Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight before him.” Joshua‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

4️⃣ Jordan / The Place of Flowing Down

The Jordan is where the people of Israel had crossed over on dry ground. It’s where Elisha and Elijah would do the same. 50 prophets remained on the other side and watched from a distance.

Believer, don’t stay where you are and miss out on what God has in store for your life. God still pours out His Spirit on those who desire it.

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬-‭18‬, ‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It's pretty neat after we shoot well to think about what we accomplished, but we always need to remember who gave us the abilities to accomplish that. So put Him first, and see how far He takes you.

2nd place: Ava (youth) and Yadiel (adult)

3rd place: Laila (youth) and Gabi (adult)

ONLY 3 POINTS SEPARATED ADULT CLASS 2ND AND 3RD PLACE! IF YOU ADDED BACK ALL ROUNDS, IT STILL HAD THE SAME PLACES, BUT WAS 5 POINTS SEPARATE!!!

The highest Adult round at 10m was Keriann with 133.
The highest Adult 15m round was Joseph with 130 (twice).
Hazel Grace had highest youth scores for both
distances with 127 (10m) and 90 (15m).

So thankful for our support from one of our League shooters. She was steady, she was quietly improving the entire time, and was so genuine among the group. Gabi Dotson, we really appreciate the compliment and look forward to seeing you at future events or leagues at Sumter First Assembly of God!
