Super proud of these 14U girls yesterday!

Our first tournament of the season was a hot one, and a long one too — from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. is not for the weak!

These girls battled hard all day, playing nearly back-to-back games and never giving up. They came up just short in the championship game but finished as Runner-Up, placing 2nd out of 8 teams in the top bracket.

After only two team practices and our first tournament of the season, we’re excited to see how much this team continues to grow and improve throughout the year.

A special shoutout to Madi Beth Smith on hitting her first over-the-fence home run! What an awesome accomplishment and a memory she’ll never forget.

The future is bright for this group, and we can’t wait to get back on the field!

After what feels like weeks of rain, we’re finally getting to kick off our first tournament of the season! 🥎☀️

The fields are ready, the weather is looking better, and we can’t wait to see our Lamar County Fastpitch 14U girls back on the diamond doing what they love.

Good luck to all the teams competing this weekend in Laurel! Let’s play hard, cheer loud, and make some memories.
