Rust To Riches Wreck Diving Crew Wreck diving enthusiasts who like to travel together and dive together as well as practice together.

We primarily dive off of the east coast of The United States, from the Florida Keys up to New Jersey.

I highly recommend using a strobe while diving. While of course you should always be vigilant about situational awareness to make it back to the line, it is always comforting to see that beacon back to the surface.

It can also be used as communication to your buddy/team that you are diving with. If you get separated from your buddy/team and they come back to the line and see its gone, they know youre on the boat and continue their dive without worry, if it was part of your original plan.

It's pretty cool to get the chance to bring your friends into the world of diving. Jay got certified a few years ago, but never had time to get wet beyond his certification dives. So we went to a quarry and I got him up to speed on basic water skills and we had a blast for four days. Good friends, good diving, good times! Hopefully when dive season rolls back around I can get him into the big water!

I believe this is called a Horse Conch. I'm a wreck diver, still learning about actual living things in the ocean. This thing was as long as my forearm and about as big as my thigh. I have been told it's Florida's state shell since 1969.

A quick visit to the U505 in Chicago, seeing the sub and walking through it really helped to bring the U352 to life when I dove it.
