Our Chaos-Black 12u team played in their very first tournament today. Fought from 6 runs down in the semi finals to win and advance to the championship. Unfortunately came up 1 run short to the Poca River Mudcats for the championship today. These girls if they stick together year after year have a great future as a team.

There are some people who become such a big part of the softball family that it’s hard to imagine the field without them...

There are some people who become such a big part of the softball family that it’s hard to imagine the field without them. Today we remember one of our favorite softball dads — Josh Meadows was a man who loved his girls fiercely, loved wheeling and dealing vehicles, and never missed a chance to cheer on Jenny and the rest of the Chaos team.

No matter where we were or how busy life got, he always wanted to know one thing: “When’s the next tournament?” He loved being there for the chaos, the laughs, the long weekends, and every moment spent watching the girls do what they loved.

His presence by the fence(usually the outfield for safety 🤣), his conversations around the ballfield, and the love he had for his daughters will never be forgotten. Our hearts are with his family, friends, teammates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The ballfield won’t be the same without him, but his memory will always be part of our Chaos family. ❤️🥎

Lots of love and prayers for peace and comfort for Josh’s family.
