My niece shot at a deer this morning. I was so excited when i got that “I shot a buck” text. At first she sounded very sure of her shot but then after looking for any sign of a hit and coming up empty she started having a few doubts. Told her go get something to eat and the team would be there in little while. This was for a buck that she had shot at before and the dogs said she missed. Well second chances don’t always come around but she made this one count. She made a good shot but for whatever reason this deer didn’t bleed at all externally but the dogs didn’t care and we loaded another one on the tailgate. She and I hung that buck up and skinned it together. Always special when you get to help family continue doing what we were raised doing together.
