Registration has already exceeded our expectations, and we’re excited about the talent that will be competing for spots. Our goal is to provide motivated, competitive players with the opportunity to be developed to their fullest potential in a positive, high-level environment.

For families who may not be able to attend the scheduled tryout date, private tryouts are available upon request.

We also understand that many players are currently committed to other organizations. All registrations, inquiries, and tryout requests are handled discreetly and kept confidential.

Pokes 8U came to play ball this weekend, and it paid off. These boys gave it their all, supported their teammates, and never quit. Their hard work and determination earned them a spot in the championship game. So proud of this group.

💥💥💥 UNDER 2 WEEKS AWAY 💥💥💥

While we're preparing for our final tournaments of the 8U season, we're also gearing up for one of the most exciting times of the year—tryouts for next season!

The response we've received so far has been incredible, and we're excited to see so many talented young athletes interested in becoming part of the Pokes Family.

Our entire coaching staff will be returning, and with another year of experience together, we're committed to continuing to improve and expand our approach to player development. Our goal remains the same: helping young athletes build the skills, confidence, and baseball IQ needed to succeed both now and in the future.

Our staff includes:

⚾ Dooley Prince– Former College World Series Champion and standout player.

⚾ BB Prince – A respected instructor who has helped develop countless players throughout his career, including athletes who have gone on to compete at every level of the game, from youth baseball to the Major Leagues.

⚾ Additional staff members with professional playing experience, including former Major League and Independent League players.

We are passionate about developing players, building confidence, and preparing young athletes for long-term success both on and off the field.

💥Up next on our player spotlight is #17 Jude McMahan!💥

Jude’s favorite sport is baseball, and his favorite athlete is Elly De La Cruz. When he’s not on the baseball field, you can usually find him hunting, fishing, playing football, or basketball. He stays busy and loves just about any sport he can play!(and we’re willing to bet he is probably great at them all)

His favorite food is buffalo wings, which has led us to a theory: maybe buffalo wings are the secret to speed! 🦬🪽💨 We’re starting to think Jude and Elly might share the same favorite food because they both fly around the bases🤔

When he grows up, Jude wants to be an MLB player. Until then, he’ll keep staying busy with sports, catching balls at first base like a pro, and putting our buffalo wing theory to the test.

Keep grinding Jude!⚾️💥

✨Up next on our player spotlight is #9 Camden Logan

Camden’s favorite sport is baseball and, ironically, his favorite athlete is LeBron James, even though we remind him that’s a different sport😉

When he’s not on the baseball field, he’s outside enjoying the sun fishing, golfing, surfing (not on these lakes and rivers here 😅), riding dirt bikes any chance he gets, or even flag football. If it requires SPF 100, count on Camden to be there

And if there’s food involved, put Camden down for a steak. Perhaps medium rare. Pinky up!🥩

His goal is to make it to the MLB one day, and he’s already putting in the work like that dream is just a matter of time.
